  2. Can you put up some details, where , what your planing , if we can camp at your place. for us new to all this.
  3. Awesome, so happy we are getting this thread going again, i was getting worried. So our next target is, "How bout for Memorial Day your bike and a military monument." I have a great one in my town, but I will let you guys get a chance first. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

  5. Looks like Wilmington is about 1.5 hrs from Mich and 2 from the Wisconsin Border. I would love to see as many as we can get together from the central area.
  6. Hah now that you mentioned it it no, it did not cross my mind when I was picking out the new one with the wifee, come to mention it my 84 is maroon as well. I think it stems from High school and college, HS colors were maroon and gray and wifes college colors were Maroon and Gold. Lol[emoji1787][emoji1787] Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. Lol ya but I don't have a big enough stable just yet. I sold my 88 with an 87 parts bike that had been laid down on the highway. Lots of good parts but I dont think it would ever have been road worthy again. So that ment I have a 2 stable barn and had 4 horses in it. And a very Patient wife but she has her limits and I am not willing to test them in this regard. I want her to ride with me more not less. Lol Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. Lol ya I have noticed that the new girl while in my humble opinion is more comfortable for me to ride she has lost a lot of pep, I am past the days of pulling up to the kids on the 600 ninjas and blowing them off the line and watching there jaw drop as the Titanics front tire came off the ground. Hmm or am I, I still have my first 84 RV in the shed, boy it would take a miracle to get her roadworthy lol. I keep her cuz she was my first. Some day when I am done paying for my kids college I will have a garage, then I will breath life back into her. Then I will have 2 beautiful steeds to ride. The wife just didnt want 4 around hahaha Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. Its with mixed feelings I say good by to my old girl (my 88 RV) She has been a great steed. I know she is going to a good home. A great guy that had an 1200 V back in the day. He plans on giving her a little TLC and getting her out on the road plenty. So I am happy. I love the Pic of the two together, I didn't realize just how close in color the two were until I put them together.
  10. This is one of my Fav thread's, as I have been gone for some time I see the Thread has gone a little flat. Well lets see if we can pump some air back into this thing. ok Well as It has been like almost 3 year I think I could prob have just posted about anything My bike a cup of water and a sunset I did manage to get a pick of a real lake and my bike this past week on our first trip with the new scoot. So in the honer of spring and Easter lets do , Your Bike and a cross or big Easter bunny. You can be in it or no Up to you . In the true spirit of this Thread , its to get us out and riding. and I its finally spring in the north:sun::sun: :photographing: Lets get out and take some pics.
  11. OK that is awesome, I will call the Launching Pad this week and look to see what they have going. I know they try and do Cruise in's as well. Maybe we can pare up with a Cruise in night as well. What ya all think, shoot for July maybe 3rd week. Keep chiming in and as I am now not going to make Freebirds :crying: It would be great to meet the famous Cowpuc.
  12. Ok I have a small confession to make. 3 years have gone by since I have really been active not only on this site but riding as a whole and I see a lot more members in the central Midwest. Now that I am back riding and on the site I am tempted to put together a Midwest Meet up. I am throwing this out there to see if there is an interest besides me. If your open to it please reply and maybe give some Ideas. I would love to all meet up at the Launching Pad in Wilmington IL, its an old RT66 Icon and open again. I grew up in the area and moved south. But it would be a good central local. Just an Idea. all us that are in the Peoria area could ride the back roads up together. Just throwing it out there. :bikersmilie::7_2_104[1]:
  13. I have a small took kit that looks like it came with the bike originally. I could be wrong, as I am about to take my first long trip what tools do you keep on your scoot.
  14. I know I am not in OK. But I have a running 88 and parts bike to boot I'm selling. I would not be doing so if the DW would let me keep 2 bikes around but Its harder to justify than Gunsl I just got my RSV a couple months ago.
  15. I bet there is gong to be some great pics of all three Gen's at Freebirds in June. I hope to be there taking some of them. Heck Yam should sponsor the day and use some pics for add press.
