    I am interested even if it is $100+. I'm sure the price goes down as the volume goes up. It would be nice if Yamaha did the production work. I'm sure they could guarantee more distribution. Keep me updated.

    The TripMasters are no longer made. The gentleman passed away a few years back and his items are rare (read "impossible") to find. But this set is very similar. I would like to see them in person. Could you drive up to Anchorage for me????

    Wow, very similar to the TripMaster armrests. What did you use for inspiration? Have you seen a pair of TripMasters? Streamline your manufacturing system and work out the kinks and you could soon be a rich guy.

    I have a plexiglass cover on my headlight. Once you find out the price of a replacement headlight you will get one too. It was about $15 and it goes on with 3 small pieces of velcro. It's been on 2 years now. I got it from http://www.cycleventure.com/. I have a 2005 Venture but I bet they have one for the 1st Gen. Good luck.

    I have no idea. As in any other state you should only be dealing with the rental car company when you rent the car and exchange paperwork unless you were pulled over for some infraction and were unable to show proof - then you are looking for trouble (and I doubt you would be in less trouble in another state). In Alaska if you don't have proof of insurance they can impound your car. Hmmm.....

    I have one mounted. I bought it through Ebay. It ws on an 87 Goldwing so I had to contact the manufacturer (Champion) to get the bike-side mounts - $675 plus shipping, oops they forgot the steering damper, that will be another $35 plus $25 for shipping and I still had to beg for installation instructions. But hey - it only took 7 months to get everything from them.     I bought one of these last year from http://www.m-j-enterprises.com/beverage_holders.htm I don't know if they sell them for the grab rails but i can easily see how I could make one work there. I bought a passenger cup holder and cup from http://www.diamondraccessories.com/yamaha/proddisplay.php?name=Diamond%20R%20Tour%20Mugs and I use the cup in my M & J driver cup holder. I have not had a problem whatsoever. The cup holder is compact, sturdy and serves its purpose well. The diamondR cup is a bit pricey and I think you could find an equivalent cup at a local store for $5. I have yet to install the diamondR passenger cupholder.

    I too have looked everywhere for passenger armrests so as to protect my Sophi. I was promised a pair of another brand that is no longer produced but they never arrived in my mailbox. How do you inquire about a promised gift that was never delivered????? DiamondR is the only current manufacturer of Venture armrests. The Harley, Goldwing adn Valkyrie armrests won't work. I have asked. And I'm not willing to be the guinea pig to modify a set. Good luck. You can also get a passenger cupholder that attach to the DiamondR set. Allen sells lots of Venture stuff.

    Well - Beer30, If you made one of those tank covers and a windshield/dashboard pouch thingy in a silver leather I would be happy to take it off your hands when you come to my Ride-In this summer. Paying your way home will be easy - You'll already be here.
