  3. Here I am up early Sunday morning, trying to do my welcomes to new members. I have two lap tops- neither of them can get online right now. The only laptop that works is Moped's. So I will not be on much for a while.Unless I sit on his lap. I will get my welcomes done, slowly but surely. Just thought I would let you know, that I am not stuck in a snow bank somewhere. I cannot even get to my pictures. Mercy. I am suffering. Yama Mama:beersign:

  8. Ken I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. I will pray for your family. I was going to tell about my week, but I have nothing to compare to your loss. Yama Mama
  9. I always thought that it would be funny if we had the sound of a loud Harley recorded on tape. And when a Harley pulls along side of us at a stoplight, turn the tape up loud. Oh well, it was just a thought. We used to use our tape deck when we first got the bike, now we use the CB, radio and Mp3 option. Yama Mama:smile5:
  10. I really enjoyed your photos. That is where I was supposed to go this year, but it did not happen. Yama Mama:ice_awesome-vi46644
  11. Sorry to hear about your pain. I know that those stones are a real pain. I wish I could be there to ease your suffering. Maybe they gave you the watered down version of morphine. I bet if you had some Black Death that would have fixed you up. Yama Mama
  12. That is really good news Gary! Congratulations to them both. Yama Mama:smile5:
  13. June 4 will be great for us, my last day of work is June 2, so we can take our time going home. I cannot wait. I look forward to it all year long. Yama Mama:smile5:
  14. I think Memorial Day would be best for us too. I will still be working then at school. Yama Mama:223:
  15. I think that sounds like a good plan bj! Yama Mama
  16. Wow that is the coolest bike ever. I bet it weighs a ton. It is amazing how weigh a head of it's time it was. Looks like a predecessor of Arlen Ness. We ran into a guy not too long ago that had an Henderson Excellsior Yama Mama
  17. So who is your co-captain? Yama Mama
  18. Ron and I have been riding motorcycles for well over 30 years, like many of you. Motorcycling is what has kept us enthusiastic about life and has given us so many wonderful memories and experiences. It is what makes our relationship strong and keeps us with a very mutual interest. Have you ever given any thought as to, if you did not have motorcycling in your life, what would the alternative be? Everything I can think of in our life, other than our children and our granddaughter would be separate interests. Ron's interests are all technical, and mechanical. I am not that at all. Point of this whole post? Thank the Lord for Motorcycling in our lives, it makes all the difference. We are blessed. Yama Mama:ice_awesome-vi46644
  19. Looks good Sir Dragonslayer, you are still my Knight, but where are your long golden locks? Yama Mama
  20. Your are now my "Knight" Mr. Dragonslayer! Good Avatar! Yama Mama:1hotsht:
  21. Yes, we rode over it too. It is a shame there is no place to stop. In fact, we did not realize what we missed until we rode over it. Yama Mama
  22. Moped and I were at the Honda Hoot a few years ago where they had the Yamaha demo rides. When the tent closed up for the evening, the employees drove home the bikes. We saw a women who rode the RSV Midnight, and I know she was shorter than me. She was on her tip toes. I thought wow what a women. I think she probably was about 5'7 or so and I think about 40 years old. Just guessing though. I could not believe that with all the other employees there, that they would give her the RSV to ride out of there, but she did it. Yama Mama:smile5:
  23. Thanks for the photos SKID! I must of missed that one. I am off the 15th this year, so I was suggesting to Moped that it might be a fun trip to see. But we will have to see how the weather is, I suppose. Yama Mama:hurts:
  24. Has anyone ever gone to Bridge Day in West Virgina? People free fall from the New River Gorge Bridge. 800 and something feet high. Oh I do not plan to jump myself, unless Ron pushes me off the bridge. It says it is the biggest festival in West Virginia! 25. Then have him bring a cooler with him and a nice chair. At least, you can have some conversation while going through this list of work. Yama Mama:beersign:
