I am looking to buy a good but yet reasonably priced shop tach. I have looked at Harbor Freight but some of you have said they don't function well. I would be using mostly for Carb Syncing on my RSV. What is everyone else use? Thanks

The last time I seen anything the talk was the 10th or 17th of January in Clear Lake or Waterloo. If we can decide on a place that is good for everyone I don't think that a time will be to much of an issue, it does not have to be January. There is a lot of winter left I am sure there is a time that will work for everyone. Is there a way that we can find out how many are going to try to make it. Then try to make the M&E location so its big enough for everyone and about the same drive for everyone. Maybe a place that has a buffet would work. Then talk about time mine is flexible, work and weather is the only problem. Work may not be an issue if thing slow up anymore. The talk was for Saturday afternoon I think Sunday afternoon may also work. This is just my two cents worth but I would sure like to meet other riders in Iowa with different ideas and maybe rides.

I know that somewhere in this site is a thread about how to properly clean a windshield and what to use but I can't find it. I have read about the use of Pledge cleaner and a 210 cleaner are these good products and are there others? Has anyone used Rain X to let the rain run off. I worry about getting a rainbow effect when the Sun hits it. What does everyone carry with them in there bags for cleaning?

Hello I found this site about a week ago hide in weeds reading everything. I seems to be a lot a people with good answers to tech questions so I have one. I bought a 2005 RSV in July, just getting back into riding really missed it. Put on about 5500 miles this summer. Now my problem, it will back fire out of left side when I get off the gas. I have had it to a dealer and of course it would not do it. They adjusted carb no help I am lost it still has great performance and fuel mileage. I can live with it but it makes the bike sound cheap when it does it and I don't want that. Any ideas? The other thing I read somewhere in here about a fix for squealing brakes cant find it back. Thanks for any help.Great site.
