It snowed this morning and then melting snow and rain this pm. In a couple of days I hope to be able to ride once again. Spring is just around the corner...I keep on saying this to myself.

Have a safe ride. On this end, I am wishing for a nice rain before I will ride. There is just too much salt on the roadways in our area.

It has been pretty ugly on our end as well. From a small snow bout with salt on the roads then fog for 3 days then rain up to now. I've never got the chance to get a descent ride for 3 weeks now. I feel for you GA. NE, there is rain coming your way by the end of today according to forecast.

I could easily buy a set of shocks for my car for that price. It is just hard to imagine that a motorcycle shock would cost so much more than a car shock absorber.

Glad to hear you guys had a nice ride. Over here, we had snow a few days ago and salt all over the roads. I am patiently waiting for rain to wash away the salt. I'ce always enjoyed cold weather riding.

3.39 here in SE Pa. Gas prices may continue to drop. After New Years, I am expecting for gas prices to creep back up IMO. Enjoy these low prices until it last.

Three weeks ago, I only rode 3 times. Two weeks ago, I rode twice. Last week, I only rode once. This week, no chance. This weather on our area is driving me nuts. Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow. Highway crews salted the roads yesterday. Tomorrow, I may have to plug in the battery on the trickle charger.

Ice and or Frost on the ground is not safe to ride. I take out my Gerbings and ride on cold weather. Ride Safe and Enjoy winter rides.

Impressive amount of miles on the Venture. My RSV has about 32K, but sometimes bad weather gets in the way. Congrats on your high mileage. This tells me the Venture is a very capable bike. Ride Safe.

Perhaps have at least have one bike ready to ride just in case you have no other option. My bike is never put away during the winter months. I ride all year. I simply put out my Gerbings and enjoy the ride. Ride Safe.

Barnett Clutch Upgrade - With Pictures

Thanks for posting this thread with pics. To date, my clutch appears to be ok having 32K miles. But when the time comes, this can be a confidence booster for me to tackle the job. I've never replaced a clutch and this thread will be revisited sometime in the future. -

Most important is to give Thanks on Thanksgiving Day. We plan to cook traditional foods and not over eat. A low key relaxing day with family is ideal. Really want to see the new James Bond movie next week. Must catch up with my snooze time as well.
