  1. Good evening to all. Looks like weather will be nice and warm all this week, so that means I'll be riding all week long. Ride safe everyone.
  2. Good morning to all. Hard to believe, but it is here. June is right around the corner and hopefully warmer days are coming. Gradual clearing and rain should be over by noon. Ride safe and have a great day.
  3. I've never test ride one, but I think I can see what you mean. Turning can involve a little bit of shoulders and some twisting on the torso perhaps especially on sharp turns.
  4. I really thought the steering is power assisted, but I may be wrong.
  5. Good morning to all. We had rain all day yesterday and later tonight0. No riding for now.
  6. Glad you made it out safely out of the rain and mud. Great experience like on the RSV is priceless. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Congrats on your 'new to you' bike. I really didn't know that Suzuki actually made touring bikes in the past. I think the more you ride the bike, the better it will run. As you have stated, plugs are on the way and that is a good start to start and hoping the bike will gradually improve over time. I am not so familiar on the Suzuki, but basic maintenance of the bike is where I would start.
  8. Good evening to all. We are going to have rain for the next three days, so there is nothing about riding and/or projects that I can talk about.
  9. Some red and yellow on doppler. I agree you must wait. I've been riding for the last 4 days. Time to take the truck to and from work and run errands for we expect 3 days of rain as long as mother nature will give us 3 great days this coming weekend. Holiday is just around the corner.
  10. I know on my 2nd Gen, I should always see that 'Green' N lit and this will ensure me that it is not in gear and is in 'Neutral'. But in the heat of the moment, sometimes it just don't mentally click right away. I've been in those situation several times as well. Glad you are able to call for advice via phone and it worked. I also agree that this forum is a very useful 'tool' just in case the unexpected happens. I am on an auto renew and should not worry about it unless Don gives me a call.
  11. Happy Saturday night to all! As much as I want to ride today since the weather is so gorgeous, I didn't get the chance. The 'boss' has other plans, so I just simply have to comply.
  12. Hello. I got them from the company website. https://denalielectronics.com/
  13. I really love the lights. I can see the side and much much farther in front of me. No cagers flashed their lights on me, so this tells me that they are now focused the right way. I really like so I am thinking of installing D2 Denali lights and may select the yellow lens for the SVTC in the near future.
  14. Good morning to all. We are having rain for the next 2 to 3 days, but glad to be able to cut the grass Monday morning. No motorcycle projects coming up, but I plan to replace plugs on the RSV over the next couple of weeks. Ride safe, if you have some good weather in your neck of the woods.
  15. Good afternoon to all ventureriders. Hopefully you are getting some ride in this weekend. Got called in this weekend, so I am just riding to and from work and our weather is just gorgeous as ever. Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there. Ride Safe.
  16. Good morning to all. Raining all day in SE Pa. I got the day off... but got called in for Saturday and Sunday work. There goes my weekend. At any rate, hope you are having a great Friday wherever you are. Ride safe.
  17. @Chaharly You are going to be a dad soon!
  18. Good evening to all. Over the weekend, I got some spare time to install Denali lights on the RSV. I’ve been thinking about this for some time now, because I got tired of not being able to see much at night. I chose the Spots/Hybrid lens for day and night rides and I think I was able to focus the lights properly (at least in the garage). Tomorrow’s weather is looking good, so I should be able to have a better idea at night to focus them the way I like it.
  19. @Chaharly The 2nd Gen RSV takes H4 headlight bulb. I ordered mine here https://dieselleds.com/ and they carry the best LED bulbs that I know. I've bought several LEDs from them for my truck. I just replaced the bulb and it is so so bright. Plug and Play? I guess I can say yes.
  20. Whoever uses WD40 on their brakes will never have rusty rotors.
  21. Two swap meets in one day. Not bad at all. Even though your swap meets did not turn out to be not so great, your ride to and from is the most significant.
  22. Good morning to all. Hope you are having a great Sunday with friends and family. We've had several thunderboomers last night and will stay wet for the first part of Sunday. We stay mostly cloudy all day and more rain is coming. It is a perfect day to work on installing lights on my '07 RSV.
  23. The Amish do quality work.
  24. Amen to that.
  25. Good morning to all. Hope you are able to get some ride time in. I have been last week and all weekend long. Got called in to work over the weekend, so took advantage of the nice weather. Yesterday, I was able to install a good quality LED bulb and the difference is outstanding. I should have done this long time ago. Installing was much easier to split the fairing and get it done the right way. Today is oil change day for the RSV. I’ve been using Rotella. Also bought nice looking spots by Denali and will install D3 lighting. Ride safe and enjoy the weather wherever you are.
