Good morning riders! We attended my daughter's Christmas Chorus at school last night and it was a good turnout. It lasted for about an hour and 30 minutes of fun Xmas drama and singing. It rained last night and that is a good sign and hopefully most of the salt has washed away. Frigid and windy for the next 2 days. Also had the day off yesterday so that was a good feeling. I hope to get some XMas shopping done this weekend, but we'll see. Enjoy your day.

Good morning to all! Hopefully you are having a great Wednesday. I can't believe I have not done anything in terms of Christmas shopping for my family. I am hoping to do most of it this coming weekend as long as I don't get called in to work. 31°F and a small chance of winter weather precipitation. Nothing significant, but no riding over the next few days.

Good morning to all! Another brand new week ahead of us, but I am not looking forward to the frigid air that is coming our way. We've had some small snow events and each did not account for any snow blow or shoveling. PennDOT did apply salt on the road. No riding for now. Have a great week.

Good morning to all! Got called in again to work all weekend long. I was ok with it since I could not ride anyway due to weather conditions in our area. At any rate, temps has been too cold to deal with on two wheels but we just have to be patient and wait. Have a blessed day.

Hope everyone had a great time today and saved a few dollars this Black Friday. Just got back after being out most of the day and took the rest of the family go shopping. I looked at the forecast for next week and we are expected to get between 1 to 3 inches of snow on Tuesday. I pray that it does not materialize to much, but this tells me that it is time to prep the snow blower for the season. Our temps today is frigid. 29°F and it feels like 17°F. Have a relaxing night and Good night!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Thanksgiving lunch is over. Thanksgiving Dinner is just around the corner and more football to watch. God Bless.

Nice work. Just in time for Thanksgiving!

Good morning ventureriders! Another foggy morning, but the weekend looks promising for some rides. Ride safe. TGIF!

@bpate4home Very nice! Glad you had fun with fellow riders in your area.

Good morning! Cloudy conditions over here in SE Pa. Yesterday, it was so windy that riding was not even on my mind. Today is much better. Have a great day and ride safe.

Good morning to all! Have a great Monday.

Good morning to all! Was so tired yesterday helping out my cousin find a place near her workplace so she can start working as a nurse. Just five days in this country and she is ready to get to work. After all that searching, we were able to find a safe place that has shuttle service to and from her hospital. Much relieved after all that hard work. Slept pretty much all night like a baby and never had a dream. Have a great weekend and ride safe!

Good morning to all. Ride day today and it is RSV's turn to hit the road. In the low 40's this morning, but manageable with the proper cold weather gear. Ride Safe all and have a great day.

Good morning to all. Back riding today to and from...Finished installing my KUAT rack on the Taco and love I love it! We are hovering between 60° F and down to around 40°F. Truly a big swing in temp this time of the year. Glad I don't have to think about 'cutting the grass'. The way it looks, I may have two more cuts before the end of the year. Also this morning, I saw two riders with no fairing and no windshield riding at 42°F temp on the interstate. Temps are still not too bad. Ride safe.

Good Afternoon to all! Today, I just might give both bikes a nice wipe and check all fluid levels. Looking forward to install a roof rack on my Taco this weekend. Have a great weekend!

Good morning to all. No ride day today. Rain is in the forecast. Have a great day.

Good afternoon to all! Rode today and will ride until Wednesday even when it goes down to freezing in the morning. Need the heat for sure on this one. My body is still acclimating to the cold air and is getting better every day that pass by. @ChaharlyEnjoy quality family time. Sounds like your little man is picking favorites now. lol I will have to give the RSV a spin sometime this week, because these bikes do not like to sit too long in the garage. As always, Gear up and Ride Safe.
-
Hello @Chaharly. Hope all is doing well with the family. Awesome. Glad to hear you get the chance to ride. Same here, I've been riding since Tuesday. I rode the SVTC today and for tomorrow as well. I just need that extra heat on the grips and seat. It does help immensely. Ride safe and enjoy the cool Fall temps.

My Dad visited us from Michigan for a few days, so I spent most of the weekend driving him around and spending time with the family. He just left this morning and will spend the winter months in the Philippines and will stay there for a good 8 months. Today, I am back riding to and from work and doing errands and some short fun rides around town. Glad a few of you are able to ride as well. Gear up and ride safe all.

Worst case scenario… salt on the roads for example. I will always wait for the rainfall to wash away salt and grime before I ride again. Another cold night around our neck of the woods. Have a great weekend.

That is true. I saw a video about this seasoned rider and has been riding for years, but he said he is getting old...so he switched to a much lighter bike and ended with a BMW 1250 Adventure. I he very happy with his decision. I can see myself on one of these bikes someday in the future, but not sure how I am going to like cleaning the chains on a regular basis as recommended. Isn't she a beauty...

Adventure bikes I think are becoming to be so popular to the younger generation. I've been watching several Reels on these types of bikes and group rides. The BMW 1300 Adventure always attracts my attention.

I hope we don't get to see salt on the roads for the rest of the year. Road salt is every bike's nemesis.
