  1. I've done that too, when I was in my early twenties and helped my aunt cut down a tree in front of her townhouse. I can also day that I'll never do this again.
  2. That is probably the lowest mileage I've seen on an '08. Wow! As far as the price is concerned, I think he has to go 'lower', since the bike may have a lot of issues and a lot of garage time fixing the issues. I am interested though as to how low he will go.
  3. I do remember Puc. That explains why I have not heard from him in this forum.
  4. When it comes to chainsaw, I have a battery operated Ryobi that I purchased several years ago from Home Depot. It is not the biggest chainsaw, but I only use it during the Spring and summer months. Rarely, I should say. The last time I was along the battery operated isle of power tools at a hardware store, I was so impressed with the nice products manufacturers are offering.
  5. Good evening to all. If you are a football fan, TNF is on. Steelers vs Browns. Enjoy the night.
  6. @sleepy2 Even with the V-Twin, it has a lot of power and I like it whenever you might need the power. To be honest, the belt drive does not really bother me since it does last a very long time/miles. I like both. My '07 and '18 are keepers. Keep an eye out and don't stop looking and always be on the good side of the boss.
  7. Something just came to mind and forgot to mention it. If you had the SVTC, it might have fitted perfectly since the front tire is smaller at 130/70-R18.
  8. Will do keep an eye out for Black Friday deals. I am also thinking of replacing my front tire on the SVTC during the winter months.
  9. I thought I saw a pic on FB that looked like training wheels mounted on a motorcycle, but I may be mistaken.
  10. Glad you and your Son decided to let the Pros handle it. It did save some wear and tear on your body as well.
  11. Once you modify that piece, it might be a point of 'no return'. If you like the outcome or dislike how it turned out, then you are stuck with it. If I were on your shoes, return it and shop around more. A company may have the perfect product you are looking for. At the end of the day, it is your choice.
  12. I agree. It can be used to keep the bike upright. On my end, since I do not have a bike stand for my '07, I purchased an extension mechanics mirror to check my oil level while sitting on the bike upright. Best of all, I can change oil on the RSV without jacking it up. I really love the simplicity of it.
  13. That bike stand looks like it has to be bolted to the ground.

    Veterans Day

To all the Veterans, Thank you for your service.
  15. Yep. If that was me also...I will keep on going until I succeed. At the same time going back and forth to the car make and model forum and ask around. Someone in that forum may be able to assist online. Best of luck on the repair.
  16. That bike stand appears to be very good quality. Nice!
  17. Hope your Wednesday is going well. Good evening to all!
  18. Good evening to all! Another day of ride just to and from work, but it felt good. Have a relaxing night.
  19. It can certainly be for some. Nevertheless, I think it is a brilliant innovation for entertainment purposes.
  20. Very clever and funny. I also ended up watching more reels in FB.
  21. I really wish the group is still around.
  22. Best of luck on the wheel hub. Hope you can get that done before mother nature blows frigid air in your neck of the woods.
  23. I am very slow getting to a Thanksgiving mood. My work schedule for December is looking very busy, so I hope to survive this one. At least the weather continue to be just right for riding and that is one thing that keeps me in good spirits.
  24. You really read my mind. lol
