  1. Well,,,OK, I understand. I mean, it's not like I was hoping to sink my carbs and learn about repairs or anything. No really Mark, it's all OK, I'll survive. Just gives me a reason to find another one somewhere. Huuuummm,, Time to check out other MD's. And give me a reason to go for a ride. Like I need a reason. :sign woo hoo: I guess I better come up and get a ride in with you fast. You seem to go through bikes faster than me! :rotfl: Ride safe, Bryan
  2. Well? I can see a lot of, um, .... Can you see who goes into who's tent??? :8: What time does the show start? This could be good! Bryan
  3. Glad to see you made it back safe and sound! Thanks for letting us "ride" along on your trip. As always it was a blast! Bryan
  4. Hey, is that the new "Urban" drone they are going to use? Bryan
  5. Where's Scooter Bob?? His last report was 6:35 am yesterday. I am starting to have withdrawal symptoms. All riders keep an eye out for Scooter Bob and lend him your wi-fi!!!! (Somewhere between Pennsylvania and Fox Lake, Wisconsin.) It's just a small area! Before I go into total withdrawal! Bryan
  6. Bob, Glad to see you found the PA grand canyon and the dam! Hope you liked the rode, I thought it was great when I was out there. Brings back some memories! Thanks for the pictures, Bryan
  7. Hey Scooter Bob, Not sure which way you are heading home? If you want some good riding and scenery drop down to hi-way # 6 in Pennsylvania. Great road last time I was out that way, but that was 4 years ago too. Bryan
  8. Deb, You and Gary have fun, and I hope you have a great time in Coontucky and the weather is good for you too. Tell Gary hi for me. Bryan
  9. Mark, That is Freedom Rock. Lisa and I have went to it the last 5 years. He changes most of it every year. What a cool thing to do! It is a must for us every year now some time after Memorial Day. People have put up a shelter and cleaned the area up as a result. Here is a link to it. Glad to see you could make it Mark. Bryan
  10. Hey Wally, We go to Mountain View and Mountain Home due to relatives. I'll have to look you up? Bryan
  11. I measured my area to put a bag, as I was looking at that one at first too. But 21 inches is roughly what is between the antennas so if you expand it to 24 inches then the antennas would be bent out, and might rub all the time anyway. Not sure if I liked that idea and did not want to buy something I could not, or would not use, so I opted out of that one. Not right for me. Bryan
  12. :sign yeah that: Forgot to tell you that part. Sorry, Make sure you hang onto your trunk lid when you open it and you have the bag on it, loaded, or empty. I kept checking every stop to see if any signs of stress on the lid and found none. And we hit some bumps too. I really like it. Bryan
  13. I got this one. We took our first trip with it and the little woman packed ALL her close and a shower bag for a 4 day trip in it! I know! It fits real good, does not move and is easy to remove and carry into cabin or motel. Bryan
  14. Deb, Have fun in Kentucky, we been there a few of times and always have found great roads. As for miles of gravel, I would say all the bridges are with in 2 miles of a pavement / blacktop road. Some of the best riding is just getting to the gravel roads. #52 just winds around and goes up and down. We loved them! The biggest is just west of Brumley, Missouri on "Swinging Bridges Road" (of course) just over a mile off highway # 42. We hit it last and glad we did cause it will spoil you. It is the longest, and the best. + there are two bridges right there, small one first, then the Grand one. Bryan
  15. If you notice the first two bridges Lisa said NO YOU GO. Well then the third she had to go on to get to the fourth, the longest, and the wood plank with BIG 6 and 8 inch gaps between some of the planks. (She was holding me so tight I was not sure I could breath in before the other side!) LOL Then we went under neath and she saw all the busted planks, cables, and braces that were busted and bolts that fell out. ........ The Doctor says my bruises will heal. But what a ride! Thanks for the comments, Bryan
  16. Just wanted to share our trip. Went down around Osage Beach area of Missouri to ride some "Swinging" bridges. They were all on gravel roads, but not bad riding. Just makes more clean and polish for me. Bridges were all built by Joe Dice. Joe built 30 swinging bridges but only 4 remain. None have collapsed- "we were told" -they were just replaced by a more modern bridge. All the bridges were built very similar and all have cables just like you see in the pictures. A bunch of straight large gauge wires banded together that have stood the test of time for almost 100 years. And at least one still has the school bus cross it! YIKES Also went to the Cave restaurant for lunch. What a neat place, food is good, bit pricier than we like, but you pay for the experience too. And the kid with the "shuttle van" ......... All I can say is HOLD ON! WOW, what a ride! LOL Far as I'm concerned food was free, I paid for the ride! WOO HOO! When we stopped I asked if we landed or were we shot down? (Got a chuckle out of everyone.) Hope you enjoy. Bryan
  17. You may find this helpful on your trip too.? http://www.historic66.com/ Bryan
  18. Well this would be just to cool! But I can not find the "blue balloon" I use Firefox and even tried IE but still no balloon. Am I doing something wrong? Bryan
  19. Deb, Thanks, It was a GREAT day, weather was great but the best part was seeing the Vet's enjoy what they believed in, fought for and to give back in such a small way to them. If you ever get a chance to go on one or more of these Honor flight send offs, you will be hooked. For a big ol boy like me to tear up as much as I did, well I just wish there was more I could do for ALL of them! Mark, Hope you got the other pictures I sent to your e-mail. If not let me know I will figure out how much / size, and such G-mail will take. Bryan
  20. DONE, there was a few so I sent them in multiple e-mails. Take care & ride safe, Bryan
  21. I have a 130 E-III Dunlop on the front and will not go back to a 150, even if you GAVE me the 150 + some $$$! Hope that answered your question? Bryan
  22. WOW what a GREAT day for the VET's!!! :clap2:All we could see was bikes for miles. Not sure how many, but a lot! People lined up on every bridge & over pass, along side roads and rest areas. When the Vet's got off the two buses some were tearing up (as was I) and some had the biggest smiles I bet they ever had on their faces! Got to meet Mark, AKA Godlover, what a great guy. Did not have his wife but had another lady ride with him!? (HEY BOOMERCPO LISTEN UP, I think Mark could give you and me a pointer or two? I know I plan on hanging around him more. .,,qwjsn Ouch quit hitting me honey I was just kidding! LOL No, it was a great day, no rain, very little wind and a lot of great Vet's to send off. Can't get much better than that! Mark, went up to Baxter bike night after and there was 100 + bikes there for that too! Bryan
  23. Mark, We will be on a Silver RSV, riding in with a bunch of HD's (I think everyone at Musco has HD's). They haven't got to ride a smooth ride yet! Hope I get to meet you there. Bryan
  24. Lisa and I are riding up to Newton with a group from Musco lighting in Oskaloosa. We are to meet in Osky then ride to Newton and then to Prairie Medows? I think. Hope to see you there Mark. Bryan
