Better explain you're issue a bit better,, or are you not aware that those bars are fully adjustable. Can't for the life of me see how you can't get them to be comfortable. Maybe you could explain what you've done so far?

Hey I'm back from vacation of my holidays,, or is it a holiday from my vacation,,,, either way, nobody took me away yet, although I did see some white coats somewhere.....anyways, in answer to your inquiries. Stator isn't any different, figure on it needing replacement, and it some came with the oil slinger some not. Plastic impeller was standard, so you'll need to upgrade that. Clutch is a 6 spring affair. Couldn't see any wear when I did mine, but did upgrade the springs with the fiber plates. No frame issues, they were dealt with earlier. Bags mount the same as the earlier models, but need to be locked if you want them to go with you for a distance,,,, although they slide real nice when they do come off,,,, notice I didn't say IF. Trunk hooks on and then has two locks to hold it there, also serve as helmet locks, but the helmets do get in the way of the brake\tail light if you plan to leave them there for transport. Rear wheel change is a little easier seeing as you have done them before,,,, piece of cake unless rust has taken hold. Suggestions: SS brake lines, more lights, trailer hitch so I don't have to worry about you and Tippy riding off balance like you have been, more light up front, more light in the back. Actually, the 85 was the best model going. If I were to go back to 2 wheels,,,,,,, fat chance of that,,,,,,, I would look for another 85. I happen to know where there is a real nice one that just might be for sale.

Thing is to keep your chains as tight as possible. Many times we think that we need to have at least so much slack. Best to set the trailer at 90 degree angle and then measure the chains. Chains that are properly crossed and have the right length should catch the tongue before it hits the road or catches the back wheel, if it should become disconnected. Yes if it does come apart, there will be a reaction to the bike and the rider will have to contend with the result, but if the chains are too loose, the tongue can dig into the road and then all h3ll will break loose.

Nope, they should be nice and snug. Should be available from your dealer at about $6 each. I do not suggest to use a sealer on them as the sealer might get into the jets and really screw things up.

I wouldn't hang them on my scoot,,,, it's kind of like trying to tell people that's all I have, just what's hanging there and that's why I have to show you,,,, I'd much sooner surprise them with a demonstration if needed,,, and that leaves a lasting impression.!.

I agree,, wouldn't take the time to put that thing in the scoot. Just as a note of interest,,,, some people consider a battery is considered dead @ 11volts, but definitely dead @ 10volts. I think we tend to think that all the volts need to disappear for the battery to be dead, but that is just not the case. A good battery should show at least 12.5v even after a day, but maybe not after 6 months, considering that nothing is connected to it.

You might have drained your battery.... it is a possibility,,,if you forgot to turn something off,,,,, but it's more likely that you have a failed battery, or a problem in your charging system. From where you are to home your battery won't last. A good battery might, I said might, get you to my place, and from there you might get home. You could tell us what they found when they checked your battery, or were they not smart enough for that as well. Hey, if you can charge a battery to do a check, couldn't you do a regular charge as well... I know they are really different, and there's new rules governing charging a dead battery, but me I'm not that smart and would just charge it the conventional way and hope the Gov doesn't notice. If you do decide to ride, I would unplug the headlight. The headlight draws the most current and will kill your battery a lot sooner. I could come over tonight to check the system and the battery, and if you want, bring a new AGM battery with me as well if I can find one. Need to have an excuse to ride and now I have one, if you can wait til then.

I would say that under the circumstances he would not get any benefits at,,, I mean with all that family available to look after him there should be no reason to. Now if he only had a few relatives, then I would suggest a large benefit package, seeing he would have to deal with such things as his caregivers getting old and decrepit.

Two things I take away from this statement,,,, first is, he must have been good looking,,, and second, he might have been spending time with you and just hadn't been able to get a word in edgewise.

My dad had a dairy farm. I was 6 when he bought it. Wasn't allowed to fork hay into the mangers til later sometime. Was told I was more dangerous with a pitch fork than the Russians were with their bombs. From washing teats and sweeping floors I graduated to cleaning gutters when I was tall enough to crank up the litter carrier while standing on a box, later that carrier became a wheel barrow and there was a time or two that I did a face plant in the soft stuff it carried. First real job was delivering feed in 100lb bags. Was 16-17 then and carried 2 bags at a time, couldn't see the use of walking from one end of the barn to the other with only 1 bag. Yep 16 and foolish. Then it was on to butchering and the rest is history. Now I'm out of work but can't seem to catch up with anything,,, even the riding is only here and there,,, only got out twice today.
