I think I told Dan to have a garage raising venture rider meet. I bet we could get some folks there to do it. Just don't let them drink before we get started. Beer only at the end of the work day. Margaret

We have lost the last of our WWI vets. The man died of natural causes at 110. The other two men mentioned didn't actually serve in WWI they were still in basic when it ended. According to the article the last WWI vet from Canada died last year in Feb. Pretty interesting article. Dan has to get the garage built first then he can hide in it. Not sure how well the cell works at his house, they live in a holler or haller or hollar. However you spell it, it's West Virginia ya know. Margaret

You shouldn't have any trouble with the 83, we have a lot of them running on here. I'm not sure what parts you are having issues getting. Lots of the parts are still available through Yamaha. Having the TCI go out 2 yrs ago isn't that bad since you are dealing with a bike that old. Hate to say it but parts do wear out. We have 83, 84, 86, 92 Ventures total of 7 of them. They all run too.
