Thom first you should know better then to start a thread with the words I and Nuts in the same sentence. We knew a guy that had a hangar the front part he built a two story home in and the rest was for his toys. Nice set up, plus the grass runway outside the front door. Margaret

My mom just got one of these: http://www.heatsurge.com/index.cfm?dropcode=EHYA9 She said it works great. Her living room, dining room are very open and hard to heat she said this does the job. Of course it is electric. It's suppose to be pretty good though on the electric. We have kerosene heaters here too. Work great as back up and when power goes out. Just don't run em while you sleep or unattended. Margaret

I've been reading alot of the articles that talk about weight loss lately not sure why. Anyway saw this one thought it would make a bunch of the guys happy. Well so far it's you and me that RSVP'd and Mamamo already got her reservation for her kabin. So just call and ask for one of the tent spots that I mentioned so we can all cluster around you. Well since I've only gotten one RSVP on the calendar I guess ya'll should go ahead and make your reservations. You can stay as long as you'd like. Most of us will probably leave on sunday. But if you want to show up early or stay longer go for it. KOA East will be the campground. Hotel was in Black moutain,the town pretty much outside the KOA. The motel was Super8. I know someone stayed elsewhere, just don't know where. Try and get camp sites in the same area we had last year. They were in D section campsites go from 3 to 38 and there are kabins there as well. You can check the map they have on the website. The campsites will be on the left side of the map to the top. They are along the lake. Margaret

I like lots of the ones mentioned. I like Mel Brooks Men in tights. Oh and this movie (I don't think it did well in the theaters) but I laugh at it called Evolution. Gee there's just so many. Margaret

The ones we have stay here too year round. I have never eaten one. They did have a baby on the plane when it went down and it's at a hospital in Jersey. Hope they tell us the pilots name cause if you gotta fly that's the guy you want up front. Planes tied up to a pier at the moment. Looks kinda funny on tv. Margaret

Yep Canadian geese. From what they've said took out both engines on the plane right after take off pretty much. Margaret

Witnesses said he landed that puppy like it was on a runway. Great Pilot. Everyone is off the plane and some are at the area hospitals, mostly due to the cold. Had all the circle ferry boats out there it looked like. Margaret

It's an A320 and was on it's way from NY to Charlotte. Margaret

The plane evidently went in the Hudson river. Not sure how this happened. Just started showing it on one of the news channels. Looks like everyone got out and the darn thing is floating. Good thing so the folks can get out. That waters got to be really cold. Margaret
