That sort of thing will happen. You can't help but laugh. I call it smoking Harleys and my bike will still do it riding 2 up on 3 cylinders.

All The tar snakes have been killed. The road was repaved last spring with fresh new blacktop.

Hwy 60 is a great road and passes thru Suches and TWO Motorcycle resort. If you've haven't done it before you owe it to yourself. It has also been recently paved with new blacktop making a smooth ride with a great combination of twisties rollers and long sweepers through some of the most beautiful country N. Ga has to offer. However, the weather forecast doesn't look good for your trip.

"Florida is for flat landers." "There ain't no twisties, hair pins or rollers in Florida" she said. Why would anyone want to ride in Florida ? You might as well ride in.......... Kansas or........... Oklahoma. What's the point? Although, Aussie Annie, SteveW and some of the other Trikies and Hacksters didn't seem to mind the thought of Florida. But, those of us that were rolling on two wheels and could lean and loved to lean, shivered at the thought of going there. Dragon Slayer, However, just didn't like the thought of getting Sand in his armor. Not to mention the corrosive effect the salt laden sea breeze would have on his shinny protective gear and chrome. Yama Mama didn't particularly care for the thought of getting sand in her bikini, after all the pain she had just endured with the lick um-n-stick um temporary tattoo. Ruffy was starting to fantasize about sand under his bare legged pink chaps and blurted out loud, without thinking...........................................

Let Virginia Tattoo him again...........

Beer 30 offering to let Ruffy wear Muffinman's pink chaps to match Ruffy's new pink rose tattoos. It seems that the news of Ruffy's new tatts had drawn some interest from the parade committee of the Alternative Lifestyle Society who had been looking for a new Parade leader for this years Valentine's Day Parade. When they had heard about the Tatts they envisioned Ruffy as the lead Majorette high stepping in Muffinman's pink chaps Throwing a Baton high into the air, with the front facing Unicorn pointing the way. He would truely be a walking piece of artwork with the rainbow emblazened across Ruffy's shoulders and Tinker Bell hovering above........You know what. But, when Ruffy was invited by the Parade Committee his response was, "Absolutely Not... I do not roll that way". Ruffy was somewhat offended by the request since he felt that his Love for Virginia should be ample testimony to his sexual orientation and he verbally said so in a loud voice so that all could hear. He also shouted to the crowd how he had only acquired the tatts in an attempt to support Virginia's new artistic interest in Tattooing because of the deep Love and respect he held in his heart toward her. Upon hearing this Virginia sighed and exclaimed... "What's Love got to do with it?" as she mounted Ruffy's scooter, cranked it and then rode off into the sunset. Leaving Ruffy behind defending his manly honor to the crowd.

Let's try this again. I quit monitoring the other thread because activity got slow and those requesting parts that I did have seemed to not follow through when I PM'd them letting them know that I did have the parts they were looking for. But I, noticed today that there had been some recent activity that I was unaware of. So, I'm starting this new thread to let everyone know that I do still have a bunch of 1 gen parts mostly MK1 83- 85 but some MK2 86-93 parts. Most of the most asked about plastic is gone but I do have the following left 83-85 MK1 both saddle bags tank cover rear fender Complete frame Almost complete engines 1200 and 87 1300 controls parts and cables brakes and system parts and a bunch of other misc parts I would like to move them and get them out of the work space and I'm done trying the ebay route so these parts are going super cheap and in some cases free as long you will pay for shipping. If you need some thing PM me what it is and I will answer you back by PM. I'm real motivated to help out other members by clearing these parts out to new homes that need them.

Yea it was pretty nice today no rain the problem was that power went out during the gully washer yesterday about this time and they just got it restored a few minutes ago so we've been without power for 24 hours . I wonder how long it's gonna take them to get the cable back on. The creek is no longer flooding and is back down to close to normal. So, we are no longer physically stranded. I started off being physically stranded by the creek then Technically stranded by the loss of power. Now I'm intellecterally stranded with no TV. I'm not sure which is worse. I did however read a good John Grisham book over the past 24 hours.

You betcha bye golly

Still 6 feet below full pool I had heard on Monday. I think we're pumping it to Alabama and Florida as soon as it hits the lake.
-
Trapped by the rain, no fooling. there is a creek and a bridge in the middle of my subdivision which is flooding which means we are trapped in the subdivision with no way out. And Spagetti junction is even flooded. World's largest expressway interchange I 85 & I 285.

Yes but, then Virginia donned her Domimatrix black leather tattooing smock and whip and decided to exercise artistic license and rearrange the placement of the images she would be tattooing on Ruffy's body in the most unusual and painful places she could think of, just to make this experience one to remember. .............For a lifetime. Just guess where the Unicorn's horn ended up and what part of the body Tinker Bell will be flying out of for eternity. I can't imagine where the two delicate pink roses will go. Not to mention the 22" x 4" rainbow. But she decided to be kinder to Yama Mama and choose a small inconspicuos butterfly to be placed on the shoulder blade with a lick-em and stickum temporary tattoo she got from the gum machine in the lobby for 25 cents.
