I just as well get it I'm in the process of scraping 3 acres of junk trucks. I could just throw it on the pile and haul it across the scales with the rest of the out dated junk.

What do you mean there is no oil pressure to loose? The engines run oil pressure about 80 psi revved cold about 25 psi 3000 rpm hot and about 2 psi idle hot. If there was no oil pressure they would only last a matter of minutes.

You may need to find different ways to check your steering and seeing if your better half is reading. She may kill you before I get the chance to harass you in person.

You have got a dead cylinder probably from a bad coil pull the plugs and you will probably find one washed clean. Smell your oil fill plug you will probably smell gas from the dead cylinder.

Thats why I live in the boonies 3 mile to the closest neighbor 1.5 mile from the first locked gate in between a 47 square mile ranch and a 70 square mile ranch no chance of neighbors. As suggested in a previous post I would cut that tree down and if it didn't fall in the street I would drag it there. When they came looking for me I would tell them I ran out of funds and would try to allocate funds in following years budget to complete the project.

Busted eh. I did that when I was young and stupid for a 100 miles at a time I steered by swinging a knee into the wind. That was when I road my old wing you know the ones the first gens were copied from. Of course I was young and stupid when I did that. What was your excuse?:rotf::rotf:

No vaccum on one cylinder

Is the cylinder in question firing? what does the spark plug look like? Have you changed the plug? If you rev the engine and let off the throttle does the vacuum come up? If it does is it steady or fluttering? It sounds like the butterfly is not closing , you have a vacuum leak (spray manifold with starting fluid) or you have a tight valve. You can also check for vacuum leak by spraying gas into each carb throat. -
