I ordered some fork seals for the venture. A whole $8. Are they a pain to replace? I am an accomplished mechanic, but have never torn into fork seals on any scoot before. Anything I need to watch out for?

i would like to have a dvd available to the members, of the 09 rally. floyd used to do these and did an excellent job. i need some one that can edit all the videos and pictures from the rally and put them on a dvd to music. the members at the rally will have plenty of video and still pics of the rally that can be used. floyd made them for the cost of the blank dvd and postage. i have a couple of the ones he made and they are really fun to watch. if anyone has this talent and wants to give it a shot pm me. if you want to make a little on the dvd's thats up to you. this is just something i think alot of the members would like to have. i'll take two just to get it rolling. bill

School is out in many places/States as of today, be ery watchfull of these young kids out on the loose with their cell phone plastered to their face or they are texting while driving,,, watch out for every one, and be carefull out there. We have had a few to many " accidents" in our area allready this year, lets all make it another year with out any mis-haps!! Be Safe!!

If anyone is interested, the Blue Knights of Ga.Chapter VII and doing the 18th Annual Memorial Ride for fallen Officers this Sat. the 25th. All proceeds go to Concerns of Police Survivors who make it possible for the families to attend Police Week ceremonies in Washington , DC in May. This little beauty was found a couple weeks ago on Camp Lejeune when they were clearing some land. It is an Eastern Diamondback Rattle Snake. They are rare around these parts and extremely rare this size. Look at the size of it's head. It was relocated to a remote area of the base. Somewhere near Beer30's No that is not me in the picture, it's one of the base rangers. Needless to say people need to watch where they step when hiking and camping.

READ BEFORE YOU WATCH It's hilarious. The more times you watch it,the funnier it becomes. It is from a Dallas news broadcast. Watch the little critter, a small desert lizard, on the left side of the table. Remember the man on the left is concentrating on the snake the other guy is holding. This news guy will never live this down, that's for sure!!!! Then watch it a second time and listen closely to the 'sounds' the newscaster makes!!

After turning over 100K miles on my 99 RSV, I'm begining to hear some extra noise comming from the top end. sounds like I need to adjust my cam chain. I have done this several times on older bikes, but I never have on this one. Is there anything special i need to know or watch out for? Thanks in advance!!

I ordered a new windshield that should arrive Friday, and I plan on changing the oil too. Questions: 1) I don't have a center-stand, but I can still change the oil by myself correct? 2) For those who have changed windshields before, what should I watch out for? Thanks.

Well it would appear that we will not be able to make it to ES this year. Cindy and I were really looking forward to getting away for a few days. Even paid to have the daughter fly out from Ohio to watch Haylie. Well anyway, I have to cancel the hotel and if anyone on here would like the room I can tell the hotel when I call to cancel our reservations. I will be calling around noon tomorrow central time to cancel. Dale

on Ebay lately. A month ago there were 2-3 complete bikes listed and an item count in the 700's, and now it's hovering around 200 with one seller keeping the count up with his listings of sub-parts. Case.... a side shift assembly torn down to the pedal and mount, or a clutch master listed as lever and reserve.... Doesn't sound too smart.... Anyway it's like the Sahara Dessert. I usually watch 20-30 items, and when things are really good it's up into the mid 40's. This morning's count... 9.... I guess 1stGen riders are keeping there bikes instead of selling them to VR killers.....

Greetings... A number of years ago, My mother sent me a watch that came in a really nice black domed leather box. It has 2 chrome snaps, and just screams Biker accessory... The watch, unfortunately was rather cheap - and didn't survive time - And I don't wear pimped out jewelry anyway - So now I've sat for hours - on the bike - just pondering WHERE and more importantly - HOW to mount it! It's 7.5" long, 3.75" wide, and 3.5" tall. It has a divider in the center which seperates it into 2 padded compartments. Each compartment is the perfect length for all the normal junk I carry in my 2 front pants pockets - Bic lighters, carmex, dental pick, rolling papers, fold up reading glasses etc... http://i26.tinypic.com/72ggad.jpg Any Ideas where this should properly go on an 89VR? I was just going to stick it on the right side - over my dead CB with Velcro but figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Someone might have a better idea. Besides - it's rather too tall for that - It would bump my hand during a U-turn... It's too tall to fit on the top cover, and besides, I have plans for a home-made tank bag. I also considerd the space over the ignition - twixt the bars - or possibly covering the Cruise control lights, or even on the travel bag - facing to the rear... If I had 2 of them - I'd put one on each side! But alas - Only the one... -
Did you hear they are going to start putting screens up at the Gas Stations and showing adult films. this is so that when you are filling up you can watch someone getting screwed as you do!! Sorry couldn't resist.
