We have about 130 members that list Tennessee as their home state. About 53 of these folks do not list a city in their profile. I am curious as to why so many people did not list their city. Are they concerned about giving out this basic information on a public website? I was just looking at how many members we may have in the east Tennessee area and with over 40% not listing their city, I am not sure how many may be from here. RandyA

The FIRST day of winter!!!!! On a good note, the days will start getting longer and on a bad note, tomorrow's low here is to be about 13 degrees F. It has been a good day today and I did get in about a 40 mile ride at about 57 degrees. This may be my last ride of 08 and I have put a little over 8,000 miles on the bike this year. It has been a pretty good year. RandyA

Just looking at the weather channel and it looks like Hanna came a little more westward rather than on the coast. Looks like you all are getting a lot of rain and winds around 50mph. I hope everyone is doing ok. RandyA

Ran across a guy on a Goldwing with a windshield wiper. I asked him if it scratched his windshield and he said it had a little bit, but not much. He said it worked pretty good. RandyA

Not too long ago, a Sunday drive of a couple of hundred miles with a stop for a meal was about $25 or less. Now I am looking at a lot more than that. It may get to the point that the random rides that we now use as therapy may get fewer and farther between. What used to be a cheap form of entertainment is no longer that way and is getting worse. It is easy to justify using the bike for the needed transportation such as commuting back an forth to work. But, how about those times we hit the road just to ride, with no particular destination? Are we now being irresponsible with our resources just to get out and ride? RandyA

i need a metal chin , the lower fairing below the rad. on a 1st gen , i do not care what condition it is in , rust , no lites , holes is ok , i plan to paint . it will look a lot better with the randya cut and i need some place to put my oil filter anybody got one ? thanks thom

I have a strange rattle in my engine. When the bike is tilted to the left, while on the side stand, there is a rattle. When I pull the bike up straight, the rattle goes away. Anyone got any suggestions on what you think this may be? It has been doing it for quite a while. When I had the collector off the other day, I could not tell if there were any baffles loose in it.
