i ride every saturday and sunday morning during riding season with a couple of local members. i would like to get a big group of members together for the riding season who would like to get together and do early morning rides on the weekends in my area. kind of like a local chapter of venturerrider.org. this inludes all you lurkers that are still on the fence. the rides will start very early in the morning like a meeting time of 6am on sat. and sun. and would be from 100 to 200 miles. depending on what every one agrees on. i live in the st. charles area next to st. louis. if anyone is interested pm me with all your stats like where you are and i will put you on my list. i am dead serious about this cuz i almost live on my bike. so come out of your closet and join us. bill :clap2: ps. speaking of lurkers on the fence, dive in and join the fun. you won't regret it.

For those concerned about Sirius Radios
Snarley Bill replied to Mikealiasmike's topic in Watering Hole
i can halfway see martha stewart, but i can't believe they would pay that dirt bag howard stern money to dirty up the air waves. he is a real piece of crap. other than that i love my sirius radios. :clap2: -

well i used the new tire changer i designed and fabricated. it has the harbor freight car tire base with bead breaker and my own design motorcycle attachment. the wheel diameter adjustment has an infinate size adjustment, unlike the harbor freight one that uses pins. i also made it out of stainless steel tubing so there is no paint to rub off on the rims. after fighting with my v-star rear tire for a half hour. i figured out what works best and the tire came off slick as a whistle. it was a total success. can't believe i did'nt do this years ago. i have got a few more ideas to improve it but it works absolutley perfect like it is. the next thing i am going to do with it is make a steel work table that i can mount on the base. when i'm not using it as a tire changer. it's bolted to the floor in my shop by my welders so it will double as a welding table also. pics to come soon.

were on the roll, keep them coming. one other thing, the hub motel is full, even if you aren't going to register yet, if you are planning on attending 09 rally you should try to get a motel room reserved in nearby harrison ar. this is the heart of the tourest season in ar. also it would be a good idea to get a room reserved for my st. charles meet. bill

i think don said it all, he has a way with words. your one of our gang you got that? don't forget it. ask away. i prefer the avon venoms. infact i'm in the process of mounting a set today. alot of the wing guys are trying the new avon cobras i don't know alot about them yet, fairly new. venoms seem to go along way on any bike, and handling is the best wet or dry. looking forward to meeting you at maintenance day. bill

got a couple of requests from the members. since the riding season is approaching. i need to ask the members to first start thinking about registering for the international rally, so cinderella can get the orders together for the t-shirts, and since she has graciously took on the task of making the name buttons, so she doesn't get backed up on that. we will also have to let the hub know about what to expect so they can figure the food for the big dinner which they are catering. i also would like to get a rough count for the attendees for my st. charles meet in may, so i can figure the food etc. not trying to pressure anyone, cuz i know the economy is affecting many of us. but if you have an idea that you are planning on comming please let us know. thanks, bill ,and the planning committee.

darn, thanks folks wait till you see what i got planned for next year. i need to go riding. you don't think i'm getting flaky ,do you? hope everyone had as neat a valentine day as linda and i had. we love you all. snarley bill ps. as soon as i can figure out how to download a picture i will show you what linda got. hint. it is big, starts with Wiener, and she said it's about time. you'll never guess.

now this is what friends are all about. linda just called me a horses okole again. does anyone speak hawiian? i'm sure she's saying something nice. bill

i mounted it on the back of the windshield with the suction mount. spray the back with windex so it will stick good and use a nylon safety tie to something in case it falls of. i had my magellan fall off a couple of times and the tie caught it. bill
-
nothing anyone could say can possibly rile me up. linda just told me she thinks i'm a real horses okole. not sure what that means but it must be good. bill

i was just thinking, i think i deserve an award. this has been one rough road to hoe, being a nice guy, not living up to my name, (snarley bill), being non political, not being offended by wing , crotchrocket jokes, and all the other thinks that really po me. worse than quitting smoking. what does everyone think. haven't i really been good lately? surely you all have noticed. it's the new mr. bill. :clap2::rotf: be nice it is valentines day

the pics are on the box. i can't learn all this stuff in one day. what do you think i am ? literate or something.
