1. I've had an '85 & an '87 and now have an '06. I find the '06 to not feel anywhere near as top heavy as either of the other two. It seems to have a lower centre of gravity. If a person is coming off a 1st gen onto a 2nd gen, they will most likely find the 2nd gen easier to handle in this regard. If coming off some other bike such as maybe a Harley Ultra, the 2nd gen will definately feel more top heavy. That's how I feel about it.
2. I've looked around .... don't seem to have one...
3. If it wasn't for that gut feeling or instinct, I doubt I'd be alive today. Ya gotta listen to it.
4. heh... the question now is.... which hand do you wipe your a$$ with??? pssstttt...... most people use toilet paper!
5. I'd compare it to a prune... all shrivelled up ... :rotf:
6. Speaking of which, everyone is born right-handed... only the GIFTED overcome it. Now here's an interesting thing... I am right-handed for most things but I control the mouse with my left hand... almost always have. This allows me to "mouse around" while at the same time am able to jot down notes, etc on paper. I guess that is somehow connected to catching a ball with the left hand, throw it with the right. Also, I can write/print backwards with my left hand. Wierd huh?
7. I wonder whut dees boyz are gunna do when dey come across left and right nails???
8. now I wonder about that.... we sell them "american" cars ... which are made from components manufactured in China .... which will keep us in business making replacement parts (components brought in from China to assemble the "parts") ???? sounds like an oxymoron to me LOL
9. OK... so I admit... I know what a dinghy is but geeeeeez ya'll... I never knew they had LEGS!!!
10. Arrrrrrrrr (that is how you say it isn't it?)
11. another question or three... are they rack mountable and are they auto-speed selectable (10-100-1000 mb) ??? Are the ports managed or un-managed?
12. hmmm... I wonder if this would save me some space in my server cabinet...??? How many ports can you get them with? Are they capable of up to 1000mb?
13. I have no clue what you're talking about .... "hatch port", "Roto-Zip", ... well ok, I DO know what a sheet of plywood is.... :rotf:
14. They pretty much dominate the Taxi business around here. I've lived in a lot of places and even drove cab a few times over the years. I dunno why but Vancouver is the only place I know of where the cabs are fairly new and run around with fancy after-market chrome wheels.
15. I be one of them!!
16. From my observation of their driving habits here in Vancouver, I'd say you're not far from the truth. When they back up, they pretty much only use their mirrors and this is probably because most of them are so short they can't see over the backs of the seats . They rarely do a shoulder-check look when they change lanes. They seem to have this attitude of "this is my space so watch out!" coz even when they're walking down the sidewalk they'll run into ya...won't even attempt to side-step. Dang... now here I go ranting!
17. I can't answer that but I'm a firm believer that when they immigrate here, they bring those driving habits with them... pay off some relative who's a driving license tester and off they go. You can spot them a block away!
18. ... amazing that many seemed oblivious to oncoming traffic and the number of people who seemed to be uninjured This is unbelievable. Driving in China: http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=QESfEd180rQ
19. WHAT ????????? oh no!!! I was so looking forward to some enjoyable LONG HOT DAYS of s s s s summer... summer.... will there be one this year? We've had a couple of nice ones in a row here ... guess we're due for another crappy one... crap! Oh well, it will keep the km's down on the scoot LOL
20. Congrats! There was a time when body building was an "interest" to me ... never was too keen on a woman looking like that tho.
21. Low was 9 celcius last night (48 f). Currently 14. Cloudy, a bit of rain, some sunny breaks. Is this February? ... can't really be mid-June! I'll trade you yer Texas heat any day (but not every day )
22. There is a poster (smduckie1967) to that article who's last sentence reads ... "just becareful when you around any type of dog because you can never tell what they will do" I found his comment rather humorous considering how he praised his pitt. However, there is a lot of truth to his statement. I've had a few dogs over the years too. One was a 130Lb Shepherd/Malemute cross, another was a 9Lb Chihuahua/Terrier cross. Let me tell you, that little dog was fearless and aggressive and would bite you if you annoyed it. Not so with the big one. The point being is, any sized dog can be an aggressive/viscious dog prone to attacking and/or biting. The problem with the Pitbulls is that they have extremely powerful jaws and when they attack, they do so to maime and/or kill. Unfortunately, the Pitbulls have it in their genes to do that so it's hard to determine which ones will or which ones won't. The one's that won't, I will agree, are great pets. I'd love to have any dog that can be guaranteed to be that way but that will never happen so for me, a Pitbull will never be a dog of mine, nor will I trust one regardless of how passive it's owner says it is.
23. Sittin around doin nuffin gives me lots of time to "experiment"... do you really think I would tell anyone how I accessed your account?
24. c'mon... don't keep us in suspense ... what's the last thing?
