  1. One is a right and the other is the left.........
  2. The radio will lose the settings if it loses power.
  3. that seems to be a recurring theme for Yamaha. Have both a Roadstar and an RSV and both manuals have several issues.
  4. The bike is great! Top heavy - never noticed it. Under powered - hell no. Brakes - very good. Weight - This is a big bike, so it is expected to be a bit heavier. I'm 6'-3" 245# and it is a perfect fit. Nothing out there that comes close. The power on this bike is different than a V-twin. I came from a Roadstar (which i still have) and it was a little different to get use to, you have to wind it out a bit more. Take one for a ride - you'll love it !
  5. I had an issue with my 2003 MRSV, and found it to be a new Clarion CD changer that i had install. When i removed it - no more drain. The thing had an internal short that didn't keep it from working, just killed tha battery in 3 days time.
  6. Anytime i work on my Yamahas - if a bolt comes out - it goes in the trash and is replaced. All the Yamme bolts are soft.
  7. Just from experience, I would buy an I-pod or something other than the CD. I have had two and both quit working, they skip a bunch and the take up quite a bit of room in the bags. IMHO
  8. SilvrT - (if a ball peen hammer won't fix it - silicone will !) Time to break out the silicone !!!
  9. He said.... Good day, I am SOME at my second tire 130/9016 forward. Driving is so different down with speed, you no longer will return to the 150. If you have a little time, lowers the pitchforks before of 1 thumb and this will be a pleasure to drive. I always await to the parlor of the bike of Montreal to buy the tires. Montreal Harley have very special vouchers. Or something like that...... lol

  11. I had the same problem with my CD changer - just took it out (I wasn't happy with how much it skipped anyway) I was told by the dealer it was an internal problem
  12. I installed these and they look & sound great - a bit louder and deeper. 30 min install. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/tf-Browse/s-10101/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2006465/p-2006465/N-111+10211+600014672/c-10111
