  1. I have an upflow in there now, but I've been having trouble with it for a few years, time for it to go. I have the intake plenum for it, it has a filter slot in it. I think the DF would be better in the garage, less chance of picking up explosive vapors drawing from near the ceiling ? I'll get some numbers off it, I'm gonna need a propane kit for it. I have a 100# bottle already plumbed in.
  2. I thank you both for your opinions. Looks like it will go in the garage. I'll have to do a propane conversion on it because there's too many tree roots to run a gas line.I still have access to the house to get the duct work for it. There's a wye that connected to the bottom and 20 ft going off each leg. How much of the duct would I have to use so as not to burn it out. Would the wye be enough if I put some louvered registers on it to create some back pressure and direct the heat across the floor? I could add a few feet before the wye, I have an 11ft ceiling in the 30'x48' garage.
  3. As hard as it may be to contain your anger when confronted by those UG's you must, it is why they're there, hoping someone will do something so they can sue you, the city, the PD and anyone else they can. That is how they fund their slimy existence. I have been there to help shield the families of our fallen heros from the filth they spew too many times. Their day will come, but it won't be by the hand of the PGR
  4. Here's a few pics of the furnace.
  5. That's NICE. You gonna do a how to with this mod ?
  6. The Lines were capped and soldered. I'll get a few shots tomorrow. Thanks.
  7. Not this time, but, most of the neighbors are aware of the fact that I SHOOT BACK! I ain't complainin Came with a 2 ton ac unit & lines Heat and air in the garage, gotta love it.
  8. I just got a Trane XE80 downflow furnace/ AC unit out of a neighborhood house that's going to be demolished next week. The unit has a build date of 1995. As I said it's a downflow, can it be reconfigured to an upflow ? The furnace looks to be in excellent condition and was used until the home was vacated last year. If it can, I'll use it to replace the 1980 Carrier in the house and put the Carrier in the garage.
  9. That has scam all over it! That said, when I bought the '08 RSV trike last fall I also was skeptical because of the low price, after coming to a purchase agreement a member here was nice enough to go and look at / ride it, after his report to me I decided it was worth the 800 mile drive. All worked out well There are deals to be had out there but you must do your due diligence. No cash changed hands till I had possession and title in hand.
  10. There's an independent shop near me that sell's Hyosong bikes. I questioned them about the brand and according to him they have a good reliability rating and a growing support structure throughout the USA. I don't know anyone who owns one or who has ridden one.
  11. The closest we have before us is Santourm. Very strong on defense and foreign policy.
  12. Boy... We sure could use him now. The man was great with words and had the courage to back them up, if need be.
  13. Size and weight would be a big red flag for me. As already said, stopping that trailer would be a challenge.
  14. That's why I've been exploring the use of a 200R4. With my 355 rear gear it sings going down the highway.
  15. That's what I'm running in my 462ci powered Buick GS. Bulletproof so far.
  16. Yes, but when they're done right they are nice! I love a stick, but most of our crusin' is in the city and I hate pushing on a clutch all the time. My fused ankle complains alot when I do.
  17. That figures ! I need lot's of chrome for Jeannies trike. I was hoping to get some of those gems from your RSV but it wasn't meant to be. OH WELL, the search continues.
  18. POR only slows it down and it MUST be painted over, it has no UV inhibitors and breaks down quickly if left raw. Sometimes the easiest route is to find a nicer cab and swap it out. Take a look here. http://www.eastwood.com/rust-solutions.html
  19. Yes it's still there. It has new shrink wrap on it. No cars in the drive though. I'll keep trying
  20. I gave up on that swap meet, mostly harley stuff and my only harley is a golf cart.
  21. You want a Cuda ? I know where there's a '64 convertible that's up for grabs. Last time I asked about it (4 yrs ago) he wanted 11,000 Needs some resto but overall not to bad.
  22. Look in the Air box, Yama put it in there to keep it dry.
  23. Swap in a Big Block Buick 455 with a 200R4 trans. The BBB is only about 50# heavier than a SBC . It'll fly and you won't have all the electronics to deal with.
  24. Joe The more people you have on a pontoon boat the greater the chance of it nose diving underwater. More power makes it go under faster. ALWAYS ensure that the nose is not overloaded. It's amazing how fast it can happen ! I have seen this happen a few times to new pontoon boaters on our lake.
  25. Jack, What brand is the trailer? I posted a BOL on my FB page with a picture. A brand and S/N would help incase they paint it and try to resell it.
