  1. Thanks Chuck, Yep the Sonic springs are a straight rate spring, if memory serves me they are the 1.2 not 1.5 I'll have to check my files. 15 weight for oil is correct. You will need to get more pvc pipe for spacers because Sonic does not send enough, I used thick wall water well pvc pipe. My fork tubes are slid up in the tree 3/4". When I rebuilt mine I replaced all the fork bushings and seals, may as well do it all with the amount of work it takes I didn't want to do it twice. The ride is a little firmer but not harsh by any means. It makes the handling much more precise, no more fading to the outside in long sweeping turns, also turns in better in tight twisties. I am running a 130 tire up front and a dark side BF Goodrich TA Radial rear. 0 PSI in the forks, 20 PSI in the rear unless towing then I max out the rear air. I'll post a few pics when I get to my pc. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

  4. My son's home is in Havelock, NC and so far he has 1 tree down and some branches down, some of his neighbors weren't so lucky. So far no flooding in his neighborhood. His father in law is in New Bern about 5 miles west of the downtown area. He has a tree through the roof of the garage and water lapping at the sides of his home but so far no water in the house. My son and family are here in Detroit riding out the storm . They brought the M.I.L. and niece with them. We're praying the house sustains no damage or flooding. 2 more days of rain predicted [emoji852] Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  5. Happy to hear the injuries were minor, sux the bike is damaged. We had one do the same to us while riding in Montana back in 2010, we got lucky and didn't go down.
  6. Thanks for the moral support and supervision Larry I'd have just hit it with a hammer till it worked! Next up is valve cover gaskets to stop the Harley impersonation.
  7. The 4 ways flash except for the left rear. Running a desperate ground didn't help.
  8. I blink so, I'm as good at electrical as I am in cutting up cows
  9. Answers to your Q&A are in the quoted text.
  10. My left rear signal light is not flashing, all the others do. This happens weather I am using the turn signal or the hazard flashers. I have followed the troubleshooting flow chart in the factory service manual and it indicates that the flasher relay in the front fairing is bad. I have a hard time believing this since all the other signal bulbs flash at the correct speed , the relay P/N is FE246FE and its only a 2 wire relay that's supposed to control the flash rate. What are your thoughts on this? Could the relay P/N is FE246FE effect just 1 bulb?
  11. Sounds like the twin to my Laguna. Landed it on the rear bumper and buckled both rear quarters then the front slammed down ànd buckled both front fenders. No tilt a whirl though. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
  12. Don, the picture you posted reminds me of the 74 Chevy Laguna I had, White on white. Was I great car till I ran it through a drainage ditch and launched it like the Duke boy did with many General Lee cars. The one I'd like to have back though is the 59 Triumph TR3A I had during my last year of high school. It was a fun little car. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
