Mine is JA000141 I am wondering if the vin's corresponds (for example NOHAWGS o6/17 #262 ) would his vin be J*000262 or H*000262 H = 2017 J = 2018
  2. OHHH I'm drooling and my wife is giving me a funny look. Now I have to start saving again to get the Eluder trims.
  3. The worst part right now is living in an area where you get 3-4 days of nice weather(enough to start melting the ice), then a dump of snow over night. Spent the last few days trying to familiarize myself with the gizmos on the bike. ARG so frustrating!!
  4. I don't know if this came thru or not, but Gen 1 meets Gen 3
  5. Talked to a Yamaha rep at the Calgary Motorcycle Show today. Bikes should start rolling out late January, early February. They wanted to tweek some things. Strengthen and improve the Parkassist handle. Redesign weather seals for storage compartments. And other little things. I have only ridden Inlines, so it might take a little to get used to the V-twin. I gotta say the balance is really low and easy. I still hate the waiting, but what can you do?
  6. XV1100SE, I know Alberta has yet to take deliveries and I'm hoping to be the first. Have any arrived in Ontario yet?
  7. The Dealer didn't even have a demo unit yet. But I was told I should be able to pick it up late October, Fingers crossed

  10. Wondering if any one ever made a list of Bolts and sizes for Covers, Reservoirs, ect for the MKII first gen? Looking to replace with new socket cap hardware and the various parts list don't provide measurements. I am not ready yet to pull individual bolts yet to measure. Thnx

  17. The motor oil is good. What I'm wondering is will the stator jacket draw oil from the oil system for cooling, or do I need to top it up thru the 1/2" plug on stator cover. Dipped a wire in there and not registering any oil. Thank Markus(calgaryrider)
  18. After replacing the stator and sealing the cover, are you supposed to refill it with oil or will it draw oil from the rest of the system? thanks Markus(calgaryrider)
  19. Thanks KIC, I'll look into it and see if the warden will take a trip there. Markus(calgaryrider)
