    Parked ours this weekend. Dropped the insurance to storage. I just put some Stabil in the tanks, ran them for about a half hour and shut them down. Turn the fuel line to off, cover them with the bike covers, hook up the battery tender and forget about them until about March. 2011 riding season is officially over for us.

    I use no Apple products. I just think the man was an ass. He did bring many nice devices to market. Did a nice job of copying the Sony Walkman. I guess....how many generations of those things are there? I guess if you can't get something right, you just release a new generation. I just sit back a laugh at all the Lemmings that run out and spend all that money on a new Iphone every year. I just don't believe in putting up on a pedestal and worshiping him as some poeple do. Kind of wierd to act like that. Apple products are no better than any other out there, just over priced. Just my .02 cents. I will no longer post to this thread, just REAL tired of seeing it. Hopefully it gets locked and buried in an Icoffin like it deserves. Oh and as far as I know....Texas is a state......not a republic...................

    Also thanks to those three Harley riders who struck up a conversation with us at the gas station. They took us under there wing and invited us to ride along with them. Got us out of town and showed us some beautiful scenery and some great roads for riding. They just wanted a reliable bike with them to pick up the parts!!

    Also, if your riding two up, make sure to have enough air in the shock. Not enough wieght on the front tire will make you wander.

    I noticed a big differance when I put the leveling links on and also switched out the crappy 404's for E3's. BIG DIFFERANCE!!! I went to a skinnier front tire. Also I went to a parking lot and practice my low speed handleing. Typically when I am doing slow tight turns, I keep the rpms up around 2000 using the throttle/clutch combo using the rear brake to control speed. Not the front, use the rear. For whatever reason I can turn a tighter radius going left than I can going right, but I can turn it around in about a 12 foot circle.

    I removed the pos cassette from my second gen if you need one !!!

    I will try this when I get home today. I have a small mismatch between the driveway and the floor of the garage. Not much, but enough to stop you when backing up. Thanx for the tip.

    I see a trike in my future. Don't have to worry about dumping the bike when my foot slips out from under me.

    Yeah it's cool and all...............until the dog slips, falls off the bike and gets ran over in traffic. Then it's not cool anymore.

    Who is Steve Jobs???? Oh yeah that Mac guy. He was just another wealthy individual who was not a nice person. I won't be having any candle light vigils for him. As far as I am concerned he was just another "celebrity" turd.
