Well thank you! But I kind of feel bad cause I had this for a while and called and found "bling" useing the #'s on there just to see if they were good or not. Found most all I wanted but took a while. Bryan
-
For those of you that need a part number for repairs or "Bling" from time to time I stumbled accross this! Looks to have a lot of items for a lot of Yamaha's. And yes I know a lot of them are not produced any more. But when calling around the country trying to find one you would now have a # at least? It helped me find some discontinued bling! Bryan

Orlin, Steve, We are so sorry to hear about Elizabeth. Let Elizabeth know she is in our thoughts & prayers. I have never "put on" a bennifit ride, but would help you any way I can. You tell us the date and where and Lisa & I would love to come and join and help out. Just give us a job and we'll get it done. I can help lead, bring up the rear and / or we can both do security. Bryan & Lisa

First off I live in Iowa, we have "winters" here. The city of Oskaloosa (where we live) lets us drive on rotten streets all spring & summer long. (Pot hole central I'm talking about). Our great city (cough, cough) runs all over the city filling pot holes, but only in the VERY, VERY late fall. Now with "winter" comes snow and ice, the snow and ice fill any pot holes that the city missed so we get smooth roads for 2 to 3 months. The snow plows drag out all the nice "shovel tapped in" blacktop patches, so when the snow and ice melts in early spring, we have ALL our holes back plus a few more till the next FALL! Questions > > WHY can't they fill the holes in the "spring" time and we have smooth roads all summer and fall and ice filled smooth roads in winter? > What is the point of filling them in, to be drug out by the snow plows and busting your snow blower when you hit a nice sized chunk? > Is this some unwriten law by this city that states (Tho shall not have good roads but pay MAJOR road use taxes)? This has bugged me for the last 20 years of living here. Should I run for city engineer? Bet I could win,,, just promise smooth streets! Thank you, Bryan

That a way Boss! I knew you would see your error. :rotfl: Bryan

On the "Farewell / good by" thread, I read your post and looked up and noticed the title has got to be all wrong. Insteaad of this> It should read > VentureRider.org Dedicated to Yamaha's GREAT Royal Star Venture, The Antique Venture Royal and all Royal Star Motorcycles. Bryan

IF, and that is a big if, I ever was to get another bike other than another Venture. I would STILL stay on here just as long as they would have me. To me this site is not about the bikes as much as about the good, kind hearted, give the shirt off their back type of people. I have met some of the best people on this site and am PROUD to call them friends! As far as I can tell it does NOT matter WHAT you ride, (just so it is not a 1st gen.) Ooops, sorry, I mean as long as you ride! But if you feel as though you must go, just remember you will be welcomed back any time. Bryan

Just some things to see that we saw and really liked. Think some might be able to Google and get more info. At work right now and they block most everything. Dandenong Ranges 20 to 25 miles out Mountains and just WOW Flinders Street Station Along the river old train staition St. Patrick's Cathedral Down town WOW Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne South side of river beautiful Old Melbourne Gaol South side of river 19th century prison. Queen Victoria's Market Went here 3 days and could go another 3! It is all just GREAT,,,,,, now you got me thinking ,,,, May see if I can twist the wifes are to go for another two weeks. Like I would have to do that! Bryan You will enjoy it and realize you didn't make the vacation long enough!

You will have MUCH more fun in Melbourne! We walked around at midnight and felt safe. Sydney is more "Americanized" gangs and such. Not saying it is not pretty just we liked Melbourne MUCH better. Queen Victoria's marcket is a MUST see in Melbourne. And Queen's gardens. Ride the trolleys like in San Francisco. If you like a salaid with your meal you don't have much choise of dressings. We even went to a grocery store to buy some Ranch dressing and they didn't have any. And their sausage links were made out of lamb. And they leave the heads on any fish, (wife didn't like her food stareing at her). Head to the southwest of Melbourne to the coast and see the "twelve appostles". Man wish we were going with ya. Do you have a lay over in Hong Kong? If so take the duoble decker bus over to Stanly's Market and sit in the top left side of the bus! Bryan
