A few weeks ago I asked about where to get sheep skin for my seat. Wanted to let every one know what I found. Lawson Farms sheep skin, I bought a large long nap natural w/brown tips. It fit the bike so well I wanted to share the info. It went from the front of the seat contured perfectly to the passenger seat and went right up the trunk to the top of the back rest. Looked like it was custom made to fit my bike. I usually don't give plugs but was so impressed I just had to. The large was $82 and the service was great also. So if anyonbe is looking this is the place to go, Just Google Lawson Farms. Joel

83 the fastest of the fast. They call them 1st gens for a reason they don"t finish 2nd. I love mine.

Sounds like some people who are unhappy with the way this site is run may want to consider going to another site where they don't care what is posted. But then they wouldn't have anything to gripe about. Come on people get a life, this is a web site its not like they deleated your pay check. Joel

Gee!!! wish one of my post would get this much attention, mine usually just dribble off to the end and dissappear. May be I should push the envelope (NOT). KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MODS. and this site will continue to be the best. If people don't like having there post deleated they should watch what they post. Just my 2 cents. Joel

It is getting close, still looking for folks from this site that are planning on going. We will be staying in Colonial Country Club on 44 between Wildwood and Leesberg may-be can meet and ride together. We will be down on thursday the 23rd until the 26th. I was wondering how many of us are planning on going Leesburgs for bikefest??? We are planning on being down there all three days, staying not to far away in Wildwood. Would like to see if anyone wants to meet and ride in together a day or two or just meet there. Our first time going , don't really know what to expect just going down to relax and enjoy riding.

Well lets see my first Yamaha was a 1979 750 special after that i got an 81 1100 midnight special(wish i still had that one). Next was a Seca 750 after that I got stupid and bought a Kaw GPZ1100 had it for 4 days and totaled it out.Stoped riding for 25 years, then when gas got so high started looking for another bike. Looked for about 3 months on Craigs list found nothing I liked and could afford. Then there it was a 1983 blond Royale, 35,254 miles and asking 1500.00 payed the man sight unseen except for photos. I LOVE MY BIKE. Will hopefully get a Harley in the near future but will never let go of my Venture. Joel

I just want to take a minute to say how very thankful I am for all the thoughts and suggestions that I recieved. You people are the most careing and compastionate group of people I have ever had the pleasure of being associated with. I know that with time and Gods helping hand that all will be as it should be. I will continue to try and let my son know that I will always be there for him and that I love him and always will. Thanks for all your responces and may God Bless all.

I do apperciate all the advice my problem lies in the fact that my ex moved in with her mother and her grandmother and from what my daughter tells me I am spoken of often and none of it is good. She won't go back over there for that reason. So all he is hearing is negative.

I have just signed my final divorce papers now just waiting for the judge to do the same. This is my first divorce and hopefully my last, we were married for 20 years and have 2 kids. My daughter is 19 and in college and she is fine with all that is going on, my son is 15 and mad as hell at me right now.I am not saying that this was all her fault and it was not all mine, but she has got my son thinking that I left them for no reason and he won't even speak to me now. I know this won't last forever, and I was just wondering if any other dads out there have been through the same thing and how long did it take before things kinda got backto normal. Joel

Great game!!! Wish the Cards had won but hit 2 quarters in the pool, 250 on a monday morning, not a bad way to start the week.
