    I plan to direct wire my 2720 street pilot directly from my battery tender connection under the tank and to the handlebars..Question.. should I wrap the harness with rf tape or something or is it alright just to use it as is?... also talked to Paul Robbins at Garmin ,great guy.. a rider himself..(913) 393 8200.. (ext 5934) I wanted to order the wireing harness from him (35.00)..He is sending me the harness FREE without shipping cost..I told him I didn' but the unit from Garmin.. it was a refirb...He stated to me that it didn't matter and Garmin stands by their customers..He also stated that I should look under the unit to find 4 small air holes..Told me to insure that no condensation would ever form on the screen if I drill 4 one eighth holes into my ram cradle directally under those holes..didn't know that..now you do to...If you ever need any assistance from Garmin I would suggest you call Paul directly..You'll make a new friend..Cant say enough about the great service I recieved from Paul.....I have also fired off a letter off to Garmin telling them about their great customer service..

    Yes, mostly..thats the scary part..but then again I do ride side saddle........:rasberry:If this keeps up I'm gonna have to post pictures AND YOU ALL DON'T WANT ME TO DO THAT.....

    I want to thank my secret admirers so far...Danob 11.... so far ,yours are my favorite.. crotchless is the best...freedom of movement you know......lol...Rawhide your running a close second.. I love the feeling of lace ...lol.. I am compiling a list ....post marks dont lie.. I guess I shouldnt have said that..now its gonna get harder...Taters is trying to play along.. but I see right thru her.. She knows me to well..I would never do anything to hurt her....You guys did this to Freebird last year remember...I didnt...but, I'm glad you all have accepted me as a friend...:rotf::rotf:

    My mother passed on about three years ago..... she was 89 and in a nursing home..When she was there, I would take my mom out for a ride every now and then.The nurses would freak out..Had more than one talking to by the head nurse..My mom would tell her to mind her own business..When I'd pull up on the bike all the residents would cheer because they knew what was about to happen...they all wanted to ride with me..Wish I was able to take them..After a while the nurses just gave in and started to take pictures of us and post them on their news board...They would call her motorcycle mama and she just loved it..I sure do miss her and those rides...

    I have to agree with all the other posters...I down shift all the time..Wont hurt a thing..Like the others I want to be in gear for that .".IN CASE" moment...and we all know it does happen... dont be afraid to use your gears...
