My trees are loaded with ICE as a result of the storm last night. Should I send some of that ice down to Texas? Time to put another coat of wax on the bike in the garage......

In any case where stats/numbers are concerned someone with experience can make those numbers dance on a head of a pin and read exactly what the Author desires. We all know that age slows down our reflexes somewhat.....this is where skill,experience,and proper training kick in for us older riders. Your mileage may vary......

I would pay good money for a book such as that! I have spent a considerable amount of time in the Archives here and the amount of info regarding these bikes is simply overwhelming and outstanding. Yamaha should be glad to reap all the info on this Site and print out a true Owner's Manual. The current Manual is redundant with "See your Yamaha Dealer"......yada,yada,yada...........

There is a very popular food joint near here that caters mainly to bikers during the Spring and Summer months. Bikers ride in from all over the State to have breakfast and lunch there. As many times as I have been there (which is a lot) it is always easy to spot the BMW riders. They come in together,park their scoots away from all other bikes,and lastly, walk around with their noses so high in the air they can't see where they are planting their feet. Now all that in itself does NOT make all BMW riders a bunch of snooty so and so's but I will not go out of my way to offer a gesture of friendship.....and I won't stop to help one on the road either as I have seen many roll right by other disabled bikers and not stop to offer assistance. What goes around comes around as they say.......

Hey I have an old Navy bud who lives in Clay Michigan. Now that I have the Midnight Venture I am contemplating a run out there to see him. He rides a Goldwing but I'm sure I can convince him to come over to the dark side! Thanks much for the offer. If I do make the run out there I'll give ya a shout well in advance and we can do a Meet & Greet.....and have a Cheesecake Munchout to boot! Regards.......Boomer

Amen to that silvercrew. The American public in general have no idea of the sacrifice our Armed Forces endure to keep this the land of the free. I played Santa one year for a bunch of military dependent kids. They were all well mannered and we had a great time.....but one of em still peed on my lap................
