    I wave to all bikers unless shifting at the time....I do not care what they ride, I even wave at most bicycles...but then again my brother rides a bicycle.

    I am still very new to the Venture, have under 2000 miles on my '07 but I have a few questions. 1. Does everyones cruise control when set and you let go of the throttle doe sit doees it drop almost 5MPH before coming back up to speed? 2. I bought a set of passing lamps used that came with the spacer but still cannot get the fairing off without almost completely removing the passing lamp bar, any suggestions on that. 3. How many gallons should there be left when the fuel light comes on, I filled up the other day with the fuel light on and still had 1.9 gallons, 2 fuel bars on the gauge and the reserve ODO came up but I was not on reserve. Thanks in advance for you assistance. I love the bike and look to have it for a very long time, or at least til it's payed off, and they release an update to it that is much better.

    Should get a first look and test ride of the Raider on Nov 13. My dealer whom sponsers my Star Chapter is bringing one to our meeting that night and will allow test rides if we want...All I could tell them was I want, we will just see if they get it back that night or not.........

    There is a thread either here or one of the other forums I am on that about the exact same issue, been many replies to it happening to multiple people.

    I believe the hum is there even when on speakers, just cannot hear it, mine does the exact same thing. As far as the rear speaker thing, mine again does the same thing really do not think there is an issue think that it is an outlet for the extra wattage from the AMP in the bike, this is so there is not too much power going to the HS

    I have an 07 have not had any of these issues with mine, no oil anywhere on the outside of the case, I will check the oil as soon as I can and let you knwo the level that I am running at.

    There are kits out there I am sure but not through Yamaha, search the internet and ebay, I have bought kits for the other bikes I have rebuilt but dealers always tell me that there is not a single kit I have to buy each part.

    I have been using the Mr Clean auto dry for a couple of years also, even on my second unit now, have washed cars, trucks, 4-wheeler and several different bikes, this is the way for me, it is quick and easy, I just put the bike in the sun for a little while after washing and tries spot free in about 15-30 minutes. Also on the speakers the last time I washed I forgot they were even there and sprayed water directly into them....NO ill effects from it as the speakers in these bikes are water resistance, I could even watch the water slide right off of them.

    Also check the laws there are some states that will only allow 250cc bikes until a certain age, I believe that is the way it is here in Texas.

    I have Dairyland here is Texas, I am 29, been riding for only about 3 years total and pay just over 500 for an 07 RSV and an 86 Goldwing.

    where abouts are you in TX, I know of a dealer with 2 I think, I know for sure a midnight on the floor, maybe willing to work with you depending on who you talk to. Let me know. mark

    Go to http://www.sierra-mc.com they have multiple headsets available are very willing to help out also, I personally have used the IMC headsets for a while now.
