Brad, they only hiss when I'm applying the brake, never any other time. And Bubber I got them for about $34.00 at the local Yamaha Shop.

Had anyone else experienced a hissing noise with the EBC HH brake pads? I just put mine on a couple weeks ago and they hiss when applying the rear brake?

I had Metzler 880 on my Second Gen when I purchased it. My first choice was the Avon until I read all the cracking issues here a while back. My Metzler were noisy in the curves. I ordered a set of E's from Jake Wilson. Total cost was $201.00 and took three days to get here....

Joe, I got these E3s last fall at the same time from Jake Wilson. I had an almost brand new Metzler that came on the bike. By waiting till now to change the rear I can probably change both tires again next time together. The Metzler still had half the tread, but I wanted rid of it.
