  1. I don't know the script looks a little too feminine. I liked the older stickers where the font was not so fru fru. Can they come in grey or silver?
  2. Glad to see you posting and hope your health is improving. Looking forward to seeing you back in Georgia as soon as your able.
  3. You do have to pull the engine for that........ squeeze me.............. My bad Sorry, I didn't mean to insult you considerable knowledge... just trying to be helpful
  4. Thats what I did works great
  5. Lewis, You don't have to pull the motor off the frame to replace the starter clutch. I know because I just did it on my bike. Pull the stator cover then flywheel. The starter clutch is on the back side of flywheel. Not a bad repair took me about 10 minutes once I got the flywheel off. Requires a flywheel puller you can borrow/rent from auto zone.
  6. Most important meal of the day.
  7. I've been making a short video to send to Paul Jr. to get his attention. The Video is eight minutes long and tells who the F.O.E. is what we do and why, as well as who the eagle riders are, the proposed project concept. When I get the video finished I will post it for y'alls review. If your interested in learning more about the Fraternal Order of Eagles you can check out the web site at www.foe.com
  8. I was able to find a link to the Anti- Venom and the Gieco Insurance bike which were his first two with Jr. Designs. Both bikes were unveiled at Sturgis this past August so the series is at least a month out from real time. Both bikes are pretty cool. I think I found the link on his face book site.
  9. Wondering if we have any members close by Jr's shop who wouldn't mind dropping in to try and catch Jr. in person to let him know we are trying to get in touch with him.
  10. Earl, You have a valid point of view and I'm sure that much if not all of the Paul Jr. vs Paul Sr. Drama is staged by the producers for TV rating reasons. Taking sides is half the fun of watching the series. I personally lean more to the Paul Jr. side because I believe that Paul Jr. and Vinny were the creative talent behind the most famous bike builds and to me Paul Sr. comes across as an egotistical, arogant A**h*** trying to grab all the credit for the creative work of others. I also feel that Sr. has said and done some mean and underhanded things to his sons which rubs me the wrong way and makes me not respect the man. Jr. seems to be better at keeping things going with a positive spin (most of the time). ...... But, thats just my opinion. The reason I suggested Jr. for the build was partly because of the foregoing and partly because I believed he would be more accessable and easier to work with than Sr. since Jr's business was trying to get established. But, now after having little luck in getting Jr. to respond I'm having second thoughts about that. And, it has been suggested as you have to approach Sr. to get this project off the ground. Maybe I have been taking the wrong approach. Maybe I should approach TLC and suggest that we would be interested in talking to both and to see which would be better suited to do our build and let them compete with each other on the air for ratings for the chance to build our bike.
  11. Done dit it ...........no response got voice mail left message no response
  12. Been there done that............ no response
  13. Can there be an anti spam filter installed?
  14. You see, I like the show American Chopper on TLC. This seasons episodes of Paul Sr. vs. Paul jr' has peaked my curiousity. Early in the season the Knights of Columbus approached Paulie (Jr.) to build a bike for them and renigged by the second episode of the season. That got me thinking about the possibility of getting him to build a bike for the Fraternal Order of Eagles which is an organization that I am envolved with. We have an membership of over one million members with chapters (or Aeries) all over the world. All of our Aeries are developing our own Riders groups which I have been a part of at our local Aeriel 714 (Atlanta, Ga) for the past couple of years. My idea was to approach Paul Jr. To build a F.O. Eagles theme bike that we could use to raise funds for Diabetes Research. The problem is that I have tried to reach Paulie Jr. through every avenue I can think of and have not been successful in getting him to responde to our enquires so far. Our organization is all about raising money for charitiy and getting him to build the bike would be solely for that purpose. The problem is this. I'm just a lowely Ole country boy from Georgia. And don't know how to make big waves. But, since it was my idea my organization thinks its a good ideal and has put me in charge of making it happen.:yikes: What do I do next. I'm open for suggestions.
  15. 10-4 on that when she get's to Georgia thing, we'll show her what cat's head biscuits are about with all the fixings. She'll be sopping up sorgham syrup, Tupelo Honey and milk gravy like a home growed Georgia cracker. :dancefool::dancefool: Sounds like shes allready got the local lingo down.
  16. I had a day off work and woke up in a strange sense of humor and biscuits on my mind.
  17. As all of you have so adequately illustrated there are many ways in which a biscuit can be buttered, and just as many ways that one may be ate. In the world of Biscuitology there are many questions that must be contemplated that drastically affect the taste, texture and size of the proper biscuit. If you are of those that gets your biscuits from a can you probably have not dwelled on this subject. But for those of you that don't you probably are of a unshakeable opinion of the proper way to prepare, garnish and consume the perfect biscuit. For instance, how many of you know the exact number of times that biscuit dough should be kneaded to acheive the perfect texture and consistancy? I for one believe that at the very least a biscuit should be buttered on the bottom of the top side of the biscuit due to the gravitational effect of the direction that melted butter flows after the the two halves of the split biscuit are rejoined for consumption. But, I can entertain the notion that buttering both the bottom of the top and the top of the bottom are equally acceptable. I think that we are mostly in agreement that it is just wrong to butter the top (except for browning purposes) or the bottom due to the "Butter side down floor flop theory" and the "sticky finger theory" But In large part the way that you address your biscuit is subject to personal prefference. That too is ok since I don't know of any laws against it. Now that we have scientifically covered this topic I think it is safe to lay it to rest. At least untill breakfast tomorrow where this subject will be addressed again.
  18. There you go that would be a plate of Cat's head biscuits..........But it still doesn't answer the question of what side do you butter?
  19. Would that be Milk Gravy, Sawmill Gravy, Brown Gravy or pan drippings gravy. And do you drown your biscuit, dunk or sop up your gravy.
  20. Ahhh....... A Sorgham Sopper that also knows what a cat's head biscuit is. Did we go to different schools together?
  21. How do you spit a biscuit open? I myself use a butter knife to carefully slice the biscuit open horizontally somewhere in the middle of it's vertical height.
  22. Survey says................That More than 75% of the populations splits their biscuit in the middle and applies the butter on one of the inside surfaces. My question is.. which surface do you apply the butter to the bottom of the top half or the top of the bottom half and why? I have a theory on the best option and am looking for intellectural confirmation.
  23. I have recently realized that most folks don't know what side their biscuit is buttered on. To prove my point I'm launching this enquirery. What side is your biscuit buttered on and why. Do you butter your biscuit on the top, the bottom of the top, the top of the bottom or the bottom and why? Enquiring minds want to know.
  24. Aint that the truth
