    when I first got the big blue I hated the heat when it got 85deg and hotter. I put on lower vents and it helped alot at least it seams that way to me . the more I ride this bike the less the heat bothers me. I love this bike.

    I just put the lower vent on my 07 it help alot. but it still get hot. Butit did help.

    I just picked my 07 venture up for the back wheel clicking. They found the rear axle was out of line and the splines needed grease ,It was all cover under warranty

    Freebird could you tell me how long you have been running the Mobil 1 75w-90ls. Has it had clean drains when you changed it. thanks

    Where do you adjust the swr and do I need to take this to a cb shop to do that.

    I was looking at the clear view windshields on the site it talked about a 18" windshield I do not think I could see over the 19.5 shield. Could anyone tell me if the vent closes and if you think it was worth the money. does really let enough air through to make a difference. by the way I am only 5' 8" tall that way I think the 19.5" would be to tall.

    Hair dryer then bug a tar remover on microfiber rag worked for me. Can not tell it was there.

    I post thing like the weather bad, Did not get bike on time and every thing was not just right for me. Then something like this happens. It will really put thing in prospective. My hart goes out to family's and students.

    Thanks Freebrid that explains that noise I have been hearing and the bike felling like it is missing we I accelerate.

    hay Freebrid you said something about keeping the rpms up and to down shift to 4th to accelerate at 55 mph. I am used to a v twin, I had a road star up to last week, is that safe to do. Maybe that the noise I have been hearing.

    I do not think anyone who changes their own oil has not do this. I did mine on a 67 Chevy. finished and what a surprise no oil on dip stick.

    If a guy was to put on the road king pipes would he need to jet the curbs. or reset them.
