Sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my mom at 78, unexpected, 10 years ago, and still hurts especially around the holidays, she was the best cook. Hope you find comfort and the good that can come out of her passing, maybe a closer relationship with the man upstairs. Peace and prayers for you and your family during this very tough time.

I buy a similar product off a local shop called Rust Check. Good stuff. Can be drippy for first couple days. I like to saturate in the bottom of the doors as well.

You might have something else going on. My 83 is quiet as a mouse. A screech sounds like a dry speedo

I looked at my 83, there are brass looking plugs up there, don't see how you can get to them, maybe a long flexible extension. I think I would do as stated in earlier post, open screw and pump gas through hose. Maybe backflush through hose?

I do not know, but if you are wanting to drain bowls for winter, I will add, I never do. I put Stabil in my tank as directions say. top off my tank, making sure that it runs long enough to work through whole system. Usually the last ride of the season. Then I top off tank again, so there is very little room for moisture to start a rusting process in tank. I've been doing this for years, and never a gas related problem.

I ride a 1983, so bets off, but I replaced mine with SS ones, and they were 4mm x 12mm Phillips Flat Machine Screw.

I sure apologize for stirring such a fuss. Geeze, they were clothed, not naked, clothed. Suggestive, yup, that was the point, a pick me up to Patch not feeling well. My 2 cents concerning the subjects, any and every day, hands down, I'd rather any young men / children see the picture I posted, rather than some of the guns that are posted over the years, and let those children wonder what does that feel like, would that be cool to handle or shoot.
