    The picture I have put here come from a brochure of 1984, and you can see two colors of instrument panel " black and brown " I never see that on a venture, it s make just for picture, is there realy venture like this in circulation?     On the net I have found video of gold wing with the " kit ", but nothing for venture............ if someone have pictures or vidéo it' s will be nice to see that on a venture Mich.

    On my side car I have put battery between moto / side. it s a car battery 35 ampéres, and it s good for starter; 12 years I made this and no trouble with stator, many people put battery (car) in the boot of the side car, I have see one in the top case:no-no-no: but it s not very good for me.............. michel http://img15.hostingpics.net/thumbs/mini_98113712V.jpg

    I want just say, that blog talks only 1200 venture , in " France " the 1200 come in 1984 to 1988, only two versions " XVZT and XVZTD ". 1300 arrive in 1989. It' s the reason that you see on the blog some modifications on the 1200 that you don t have in américa , cause 1200 was stop in 1985. In France no cruise control for the 1200 until 1988, it s appears in 1989 with 1300. only one model of instrument panel ( whithout gears indicators ) The last year ( 1988 ) 1200 receive electric fork.     Sorry but I have always check compression engine hot, before I works in mecanic , and we take pression like this. that right it s not indipensable to remove carburators......     What I made when I check compression. 1 : I start the bike for have a hot engine. 2 : I remove the carburators ( for have a maximun air entrance) 3 : I remove the 4 spark plug. 4: " short out all the spark plug wires to not harm the CDI box " In this condition I have this on my 1988 1200 venture 1 / 13,5 kg 2/ 14 kg 3/ 13 kg 4/ 14 kg michel
