  1. Never thought of a compressor. Where is it mounted? Also probably a good idea to upgrade the fuse panel at the same time? Kirk
  2. I have an 83 Venture standard. Would like some ideas about adding some stuff to it. Something like maybe a radio or cb. I purchased this in Feb of this year and put on about 4000 miles on it. Runs great. Plan on changing oil before storing for the winter but have to do it outside as no place else to work on it. Did put a new rear tire on this year so will be ready for spring. Thnaks for any and all advice. Kirk
  3. I have no way to plug a battery tender in where I store the bike. Take battery out or leave in? Thanks Kirk
  4. ok thanks. That is about all it moves in and out. Still learning stuff since this is my 1st venture. Kirk
  5. Was cleaning the motorcycle and noticed the gear shift shaft would move in and out a little bit is this normal? It is an 83 Standard. Thanks Kirk
  6. Just a few miles south of you in Wapello, Ia. KIrk
  7. Getting my rear tire changed in the morning at a local shop. Quoted me $58. Includes removing the tire from the bike and mounting/balancing. Would do it myself but don't have all the tools yet. Kirk
  8. Glad to see all the good news. Prayers still be sent out. Sounds like Ponch is a strong man and has a ton of friends for support. Kirk
  9. I know I am fairly new hear but everyone has been so welcoming. Hope and prayers for Ponch & family
  10. I have decided that installing this radio is going to be a major undertaking since I don't have any of the plugs or wires for the radio. have decided to go with installing a mp3 player and maybe a cb. If any one would like an original Gen 1 radio with cassette and intercom let me know. Thanks for all the help Kirk
  11. Yes I have all that you mentioned.
  12. Don't think it is a Royale.
  13. I am a new guy to the site. I have a 1983 venture that I would like to put a radio in. Had a friend find me a stock radio with intercom to install. Now what else do I need? Radio looks like it was just unplugged from the motorcycle it came off of. No wires or anything. Thanks. Kirk
