  1. Any idea of a cheap aftermarket that fits?
  2. Look around the Lake Mary area next to I-4. There's a Hyatt and others. Plenty of places to eat, etc. Its a good area.
  3. Noisy shifting is common on Victorys. I have had 2 and each one made a lot of noice when shifting. I also had problems with the trans of each. The popping makes me think it needs to be put back on the computer and check the map.
  4. Its an LED brake light and turn signal system http://showbikelights.com/index.html
  5. Anyone install this on their RSV?
  6. Where did you get the HO Stator from and how difficult was it to install?
  7. No GPS. The only thing I've added since I bought the bike new are the driving lights and the isimple. Itry to make sure the ipod is unplugged after riding. A few times this has been left plugged in over night. But, the next day the bike started up without any indication of a low battery. I've been thinking of adding the Strobinator for the rear. I'm a little unsure of that because of the battery.
  8. My wife and I had a bear cross our path going throught The Ocala Forest one afternoon. It was then we decided there was no need for the intercom system on the bike. I was able to clearly hear every thing she said.
  9. I think I may go ahead and add that after I get a new battery.
  10. I heard they generate a lot of heat for the riders
  11. thanks goose That is my next course of action
  12. After all test (load and charging), it appears the battery may be going. I placed the battery on charge to ensure it was fully charged and 2 hours after taking it off the charger the DC volts reading was 12.6. 16 hours after charging it read 12.43V and almost 20 hours after it reads 12.41V
  13. Thanks everyone A friend of mine is going to load test and other test this afternoon after work. After charging it has started without hesitation every day. Maybe she was upset for us leaving town with out her.
  14. Not a bad idea. Any thought on a battery tender? A friend of mne has an 08 RSV and always plugs his battery tender in after a ride.
  15. This is my second since December
  16. I try to make sure it is unplugged when I stop. I have forgot a few times. This time I had the ipod with me while visiting the grandkids. A little puzzled since none of my other bikes have had this happen. I just went out and it started right away, withoiut hesitation. I hope it was just a fluke. But, we'll see what the test show on Friday.
  17. Thanks Condor Since I installed the isimple for my ipod I've had periodic battery drains when the bike sits for more than 4 or 5 days. Spoke with a friend of mine this morning and we're going to run a load test and some other test to see if there is a problem.
  18. Went out to start the RSV tonight for the first time in about 3 weeks and the battery was almost dead. I put the charger on for about 30 minutes and was able to start up. The battery is only 6 months old. The bike is a 2010. Is this common for the RSV?
  19. Being a grandparent is much more fun than being a parent
  20. My wife and I did this in May 2006. We flew into SF and rented an Electra Glide from Eagle Rider and spent a week riding around northern California. We spent 2 nights in Calistoga at the the Calistoga Inn. There is some of the best scenery in this area. If you have time ride through Weaverville and check out the Trinity Alps. The PCH is a great ride. Avenue of the Giants and Armstrong Forest are 2 places that you want to see. We met several really nice people along the way that gave us info on places to see. Enjoy the trip
  21. I've used double twist to transfer my itunes list to my droid phone. It worked well
