  4. the V4 has been in the lineup for along time, I suspect they will be releasing a Gen3 in a couple years. (I will predict- fuel injection, on-star, headset will be wireless Bluetooth, 6 speed trans, stronger charging system with power converter and one 110 outlet, more storage in the saddlebags and trunk, CB w/GMRS channels, built in Nav system, AND... a tape deck!) ps. will run on E-85

  10. My wife started riding her own with a honda shadow vlx600 4 speed. She is now riding a honda shadow spirit 1100. She has loved motorcycling so much she became an MSF RiderCoach. If she is wanting to ride her own, there is alot of information on the web, my 2 cents worth is check out Roar Motorcycles, they are great people and cater to riders with a shorter inseam. PS, make sure the bike fits her ( meaning her knees are slightly bent when seated on the bike and flat footed on the ground.... remember, women have a different center of gravity than we men do. A woman should be able to remove the bike from side stand using her leg strength, not upper body strength. ) Rick
  11. Wishing my VentureRider friends a Merry Christmas, and a Happy Safe New Year.

  18. ... the engineers all laughed and laughed as they got their orders from the marketing guys, claiming a cassette player would allow the bike to be marketed with catch phrases like "retro" and "still a classic after all these years", however in a genius ploy to over come the market researchers plan to make the engineers look a fool they.......
