    After looking at older Saab I let it go today because No passenger Air Bag. I probally could have got good deal on it but it was older car. The air bag in this last accident saved me a lot of damage I think. I sat there right after the accident before I kicked my way out of the car and looked at passenger side. The old Buick didn't have passenger bag. I thought then I won't own another one like this. Crazy things go thru your head then but that one stuck. This Saab seems to have all the Goodies if I could grab it.

    I would check for other things. These engines are pretty much bullet proof. I have a 84 engine with 98k that runs great.

    Can we all go to this one?? The one in our Charleston ( WEST by GOD) won't even talk to me. All they sell is 4-wheelers I think. You can stand around and look at their bikes all day and no one shows. Could fire one up and take it for ride. Don't think they would notice.

    They didn't offer me til around 75 or thereabout. But I had heard some of their opinions by them. Didn't like the policits they played and I don't mean just who they voted for. I also came back to the World in 71 Boomer. U.S. ARMY RECON!!

What do you think of it and what do you think it will go for. Any way to find out what the reserve is? I am really in a bind now. Only transportation I have is bike and can't hold it up. If I scrape everything I got togather I may be able to make small attempt at this thing. I think it would last me a couple weeks. Wouldn't be any 1/2 assed insurance on this one. I KNOW IT IS A SAAB BUT I LIKE THEM..

    This is very interesting. Please let us know what you find out. Lean and then too rich. I had a old Yamaha that did that years ago but can't remember what it was. Back when carbs had adjustment on them and I think someone just had them all out of wack. Might have been floats. Don't really remember but it was dumping more gas than it needed going down the road but ran fine at low speed. Let us know what you find out.

    I remember sitting waiting last year til after midnight for it to let up raining so I could go 25 miles home. Didn't work but had a GREAT evening. Mr Possum that played chicken with me on the way home didn't come out so well. I wasn't about to swerve to miss him on thse wet roads. This looks like it could be a GREAT weekend!! For those that are riding!!!

    Hey Gerald. At the Cross Lanes exit on 64 ( the way you go to Harbor Freight) there was a place that sold all kinds of trailers on the right as you got off the Interstate. I think they are still there. Have you checked them out?? If I get a cage to get down that way I'll stop and look.

    Thanks Earl I could keep you busy for a while with all the parts I have tucked away. I would like to see someone that knows what they are doing with them clean a set of carbs. Maybe one of these days we could have a show & tell on it if someone had a single carb already out of the rack but then that would need a class on how to remove and put them back. And one on how to get ready to remove and then one on how to get them back in sync and one on ........ it just keeps on and on.

    A meet & Eat before the Meet & Eat??? Denney's is not bad. We have IHOP which has a Country Fried Steak & Eggs that ain't too bad at all. Can't hardly eat it all. And here I sit with NO TRANSPORTATION!!!:crying:
