  1. this is the info off of the other site for ya. First test to see it will hold vacuum. The pressure sensor is prone to developing vacuum leaks. If it will hold vacuum , then to check pressure sensor... with 12 V supply to sensor and atmospheric pressure, the sensor should have ~ 2.0 V output. Application of vacuum or pressure should cause the voltage to vary according to the attached graph. http://venturers.org/Tech_Library/attachments/pressuretest.jpg
  2. now that I'm totally confused about the time, 11am,12pm,1pm, I will try to move my tower job to Thursday or Friday instead of Saturday, that way i can take the bike out for a short 6hr ride one way to fill my belly with good food and see old friends. I cant make any promises that I will be there but will try. I'll know by Thursday and will let you all know.
  3. I'm 39 and to me it's just a number. looking back at how I've lived up till today, I wouldn't change a thing. I cant what for the next 51 years.
  4. If money was not an issue what kind of bike would you get and may-by why? My first bike would be the dodge tomahawk. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uZA93SvZpk&feature=fvw]YouTube- Dodge Tomahawk[/ame] But then i figured that since dodge went belly up, finding parts would be impossible. then i thought about bigger bikes The McLean V-8 Monowheel. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4YmVP6i4qw&NR=1]YouTube- McLean V-8 Monowheel (Crash)[/ame] But after the end of that movie my health insurance would go up 300% on to bigger, [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZO0pAmliyVY]YouTube- Monster Bike[/ame] detroit motor with Alison trans and a top speed of 25Mph. But it does have AIR ride seat for the long hall's [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wiTddVGgRo&feature=related]YouTube- Australia's Monster Motorbike - Melbourne Media Prelude[/ame] but the fuel mileage would kill me. in the end I would probably stay with my 84 venture or any of the ventures, there a Timex that wont quit
  5. after searching the net i found this info that may help me understand. http://www.tailofthedragon.com/ the info is towards the bottom of the page.

  7. I'm interested. Mark me down for 1.
  8. OK where to start, I don't think I got the right information about what the paper is trying to convey, Let’s start with 93 speeding tickets on the Dragon last year, is that just bikes or all autos? They get about 30 emergency calls a year, Is that just bikes or all autos. Where I live a Big-Rig going off the road or stuck and blocking traffic is considered an accident. I know that big trucks still wind up on that road and not make it to the other end. At least two people are killed on the North Carolina side of the road in a typical year. Again is that just MC's or all autos. Most of the serious accidents on U.S. 129 happen in Graham County, according to N.C. Highway Patrol records. Again what constitutes an accident there? Troopers last year responded to four wrecks involving injuries on U.S. 129 in Swain County and 20 in Graham County. Nice info but again is that just MC's or all auto's. I know the county is going broke but what county any-ware isn't. To take an hour to get to an accident is not unreasonable but not good ether.
  9. Hi Tom, I wont make it this weekend. It snowed today and I have to fix the heater in my truck today and would be to tired Sunday to drive up there.
  10. Hello Bob, I would like one 1st Gen Pin and one 2Nd Gen Pin. If you do not have any more 2Nd Gen Pin's then 2 1st Gen Pin's are fine for me. Pay-Pal has Ben sent. thank you.
  11. It was great to see you all again. I will be looking for a new GPS that can take the abuse of my rides. I got back home safely at 10 PM. had to stop at Wally World on the way home and got a neat pair of WOHRM Gloves for the rest of the ride home. I had a great Venture on my way there and back home. I'm looking forward to the next trip to fill my belly. I will try to get a hold of freebird and try to change my name from KB2RWW to just RWW, ”Really Wacky Wild” or Tom’s Idea GO BOB GO,

  14. I don't think i can make it, I have to get rid of sum vehicles. If i get dun early I will try to run up there. would be nice to see you all again.
  15. I average 45Mpg and when i get it out on long trip's where it runs for a while non stop it gets between 50 to 65Mpg @ 60 to 68 mph, any thing above 71 mph the bike starts felling weird and have to slow it down.
  16. I have seen several Mobil home's/double wides that I worked on, grounded thru the frame. the manufacturer would run a minimum of 10ga wire from the ground bar to the traler frame and the frame grounded to a ground rod. thy may have the ground bar and the neutral buss bonded together and your neutral is grounded out at the meeter pan. where i live they require a continuous ground run from 2 earth rod's 8' apart at the meatier then to the meter pan then to the box in the house then back out to another ground rod then out to your well if you have one then back to the two ground rod's in one continuous loop with no splices or brakes."it's a lot of copper" & I've Ben there, had to run it for my service upgrade to my manufactured housing.
  17. Road to mountain summit of Mt Wachusett will close for two years Motorists wanting to enjoy the views of central Massachusetts and Boston from the top of Wachusett Mountain should plan to drive to the summit before the road closes this fall Once closed, it won't reopen until September of 2011 The project involves rehabbing the roadway system to promote public safety. It will involve the reclamation and overlay of roughly five miles of roads and improved signage, while protecting the area's natural, cultural and historic resources.
  18. Yes I now have a bunch of new friends and I now realise that red is not my color.
