  1. Looks good, Dick, hope it lasts you a long long time!
  2. Welcome! The '07 black and blue is one of my favorite color combinations too, along with Raspberry and Tan and the MM edition. I'm sure you will find several great members in your general area. Try to make it to the Vogel M&E this summer, you will enjoy it. There is also a great time at Freebird's Maintenance Day early June in Oberlin Ohio and the International Rally this year in NW Illinois! Once you put one accessory on your bike it immediately becomes addictive and you can't stop! We will be more than glad to find ways for you to spend your money on safety chrome and creature comforts!!
  3. Not sure exactly but I would say 6 ft should do it. The positive cable is the longer one, the ground one is about 2 ft give or take...

    Found it

    We'll try to make it!
  5. Well, glad you're OK! I can defanately relate to the hard lean on an RSV! I entered a sweeping turn a little too fast and thought I would end up going down. I never expected it to lean as far as it did but I managed to make it thru with heart pounding! Couldn't tell you if the floorboard was scraping or not but if it wasn't it was probably only a hair of clearance! We were 2 up at the time...
  6. Dan, like everyone else I am deeply saddened for your loss and my prayers are for your extended family in this tragic time! I agree with Trader when we all have a huge family reunion...
  7. Can't remember the number either but it is a 3 prong amber bulb that you probably can only get from a dealer. You can take a regular 1157A and file one of the prongs off and it will fit...
  8. I put a glob of 2 part ABS epoxy on mine and never had a problem with it, but for peace of mind do what Marcarl says...
  9. Oh crap, he WAS talking about his Venture!!!
  10. Yup, reminds me of the song "I love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow!!" Becky and I have been married for 23 so far, and we were both married twice before, and we feel the same way!!!
  11. Oh, well, in life defecation occurs...
  12. You're going to start in Hamilton Ontario?? Oh, Hamilton AL!! If you were closer like Ontario I would be glad to join you...
  13. So what kind of helmet did you buy?? Did you tell him about Daitran's M&E??
  14. Yup! Risers and/or Flanders bars will make a world of difference!! Also try a cramp buster wide throttle rocker for the cramps and maybe Kuryakin grips as well...
  15. You will also have longer pedal travel Larry, but as Dingy says you get more pressure but lower volume...
  16. Did you ever notice how much the "other" site charges???
  17. Yes, in the long run it is better, and really not any more expensive, to replace the slave with a new one. Rebuilds usually don't last as long...
  18. Soon my friend, soon...
  19. See, you leave Michigan for that dry Arizona heat and it done dried up your brain!! Seriously, nice looking ride and good price.
  20. Prayers sent from here too!! That is just terrible especially for a young lady...
  21. Welcome aboard!! You would be hard pressed to find a nicer bunch than here!!
  22. Yes, did you also use blue loctite when retorqueing the bolts? Those bolts are exposed to a lot of vibration.
  23. If you can find an '85 trunk and mounting rack, it will still be removable. Or, if you have the hardware from an '85 any MK2 trunk will mount and be removable. You need the longer antenna mounting arm regardless of which you do...
  24. Maybe if I was young and single...
