  1. Ok, I can't stand it anymore. I can ride year round here in Florida, but the mist on the windshield is killing me. I thought I could get used to looking through it, but now I want to cut it down but I am unsure of the proper technique. If anyone knows, please let me know and I would be grateful. I have most of the tools I think I need, ie. dremel, jig saw, scroll saw and patience. Help please! Sky Pilot
  2. Inspections??? We don't need no stinkin' inspections in Florida Sky Pilot:whistling:
  3. Thanks! I appreciate your input, all of you. This site is very helpful when it comes to information. Thanks again! Sky Pilot
  4. First, Thanks Freebird !! You Rock!! I am looking for storage accessories for my 07 RSV, like tank bags or places to put stuff (no storage anywhere on bike) Back seat storage bags...I think you get the idea. Any help???? Thanks, Sky Pilot
  5. Well, I took off today and drove 575 miles and I am so very pleased with the Utopia backrest. I am not doing a commercial, but I have to tell you, it was worth the wait!! Just thought some of you might be interested. Keep it tween the ditches! Sky Pilot
  6. i got my Utopia backrest about a week ago. Took about 20 minutes to install, being careful of the wires underneath the bracket. I absolutly love it. It was worth the wait, and, don't tell Utopia, but I would have paid twice the price. Looks good, fits good, feels good! And that's all I got to say about that! Sky Pilot
  7. Hey y'all ! I was hoping someone could give me info on what is happening (who why what where when) in Leesburg Fl next weekend. I appreciate the help SKy Pilot
  8. I am not a great mc mechanic, but I think that there must be a float problem: ie, out of adjustment, stuck needle valve (open) . I may not be correct, but it seems to me the only reason that fuel would come out of the overflows, is that they are flooded with fuel therefore, the float valves are not closing, dirty, worn or something like that. That is my two cents, I wish I could help you more. Good luck Sky Pilot
  9. Thanks for your help. You have answered a couple of questions of mine so far and you have been a GREAT help. I have ridden hundreds of thousands of miles on Old Gold Wings, but this is my first RSV. For the most part I am happy with it, but, like any bike, the more you ride it the more things that weren't obvious at first, become very obvious. I needed a back rest and will call and order the one from Utopia tomorrow. Price is great and installation looks like a snap. Thanks again, Freebird Sky Pilot
  10. Can someone please help me find a back rest for my 07 RSV? Thank you, Sky Pilot
  11. Hi, I've seen all the comments and I will echo them. I never had one before, but once I got used to it, I find I like it. The main reason I like it is that when I wear boots in the rain, it is not so clumsy to get under to shift with your toe, just click with your heel. Ride safe Sky Pilot
  12. Thanks all y'all. It gives me a starting point. Sky Pilot
  13. Sky Pilot here, I just got a headset for the 07 Venture and was wondering if there was a special channel for motorcyclists, (like 19 for truckers)? Appreciate any help! Thanks Sky Pilot !
  14. Hi, Sky Pilot here KI4VAC. Thanks for the information! 73 de Carl
