  1. Hang in there, this is not a brand new problem, somebody will post on what can be done, in the meantime, I know, you said it was unlocked, try locking it and then unlocking it again.
  2. Really guys???,,,, I'm having a hard time believing that you don't understand auctioneer speak,,on the other hand it wasn't soo easy on my end either, but what is written is written and I'll not take back a word of it,, well not until I run for Prime Minister, or President. To make things short and sweet for you all then,,,, Calling once,,,,,, Calling twice,,,,,, Now just to wait for the final ok.
  3. Ok,,, so the suspensin continues. Ya I know,,, it's a new word and I know because I invented it. We have 2 interested parties in being the grand fabulous new owner of the one and only trike that ever belonged to none other than the master of electronics: BongoBobNY. The dialogue that I've had with either of them and the encouragement that they have received form the parties on this site have not got them to go out and find out how good of a deal this might be. This has to be a find of a lifetime, something you wouldn't even hope to discover in a barn somewhere, and the buyer will get to sit on it, fire it up, listen to the pipes as they emit sounds of strength and power, and then when all is ready, hold their head up high, slip it into 1st gear, release the clutch and go cruising down the highway with the realization that it is ME!!!! and ONLY ME that get to ride such a machine with all it's history. Now I would think that the BS previous should be worth another $50,, I'm not a real good auctioneer on paper, but I can type a lot when I get going. Actually, presently, like as we speak, so at the moment, like not yesterday, but right now,,,,,, I have put the question to the owner and eagerly awaiting her answer with abated breath. I really want to put this thing to sleep, and get on with the 84 and the tools etc. I'm actually camping at present and have sporadic cell reception, but I will stay on it.
  4. Wrong thread sir. There is another thread for this kind of gobbligoop, this thread is for updates and info only,,,,, so mind your manners!!!!!
  5. Wondered what kept you away,, nobody to get coffee 1st thing in the morning,,,, thought maybe I was going to have to get devoirce papers ready, glad for all the happenings in your life and going so well. See you next year,,make sure you register and plan a place to be,, NOW!
  6. Just for your info,,, once again prices have been adjusted, all in your favour. Don't forget to mention Tom Lacut and VentureRiders when you book for a further 20% discount. Thanks Tom for getting this straightened out once more.
  7. Sounds to me like your throttle linkage may need a bit of lube. Also to make sure things are in good order, you should do a cab sync which might also define and/or fix your issue. Once you've done that, let us know if we can be of more help.
  8. I would agree to allllllllllll the above posts,,, now to figure out who was first, guess it's more work for poor little old me,,, or maybe there is someone who is feeling sorry for me and so to help things out, would bit just another $25 or $50. You know how an auction works eh,, the highest bidder gets the prize and............ we see!!! eh?
  9. Open the enrichers, crank the throttle, then start it and close the enrichers as idle increases. Always, always have the enrichers closed before you move, there is a real danger of a mishap when the engine stalls or burbs during riding,,, not a good thing. You may also be having the enrichers hang up as you close them. Check them on a cold engine and make sure they all totally return to closed when you close the control handle.
  10. Had a wonderful time and glad we made the choice of coming home a day early,,, not a drop of rain the whole time,, just a little cool at times,,,, course the Bum wouldn't know anything about that eh! I can remember only 1 u-turn and I don't think any farmers were plagued by wayward motorcycles. it was good to finally meet up with Sailur (Andrew), that boy rides well!!!!, and to see Abdul once again if only for a short while. Glad to have had you guys along. Found out that Garmin with their new update now wants to change a route according to their plans, took some time to keep ahead of them. Won't be trusting the route transfer from on. Thanks Evan for setting this thing up, it was a real grand time, and I even got to sleep soundly. Couple of good routes that stuck in my mind were, Southwood road, 518,632,654, all good roads to ride, although I think the 518 wore us down the most.
  11. Already then,,I think this has went on long enough. Please place your bids on line here. The way it pans out at the moment is that I have 2 bidders left, both at $11500. Please post what it is that you two guys would like. We could cut the trike in half, but then we'd have to argue as to which way and who get to pick first,,,, you know what momma said,,, one cuts, the other picks. I really think it would be a whole lot easier to bring a bit to more than $11500. This sale will close shortly, but not before Friday Sept 13, I am busy guiding folks around Ontario, so you have until then to mix this up some.
  12. Boy,,,that's amazing,,, for some folks them there tootheses just fall out,,, guess yours didn't want to leave so easily. Too bad you couldn't make this ride allll the way, planned out special with you in mind,, lots of turns, twists and such, even some hills and valleys, just to get the right mix in. Due hope to see you tomorrow though and if you think your rain dance is working,,, keep at it,,, just put a little more effort into it between 3 and 4 in the morning,,, that should pretty well do it then.
  13. Gonna miss ya Bud, but we will steak it on you anyways,,, only because we know you would want us to. Blessings as time goes on and hopefully there will be a blessing at the end of this tunnel.
  14. It has backup lights and the reverse that we could find was fitted on either side when Ben was riding it, but when he got off the reverser had also magically disappeared. I would say it has NO mechanical reverse. I just called Hannigan, according to them they did not install a reverse.
  15. All set then!! got everything cleared to let this run as it may. We have 11,500 and it will be sold, any body else want in on this. Just to update: 2009 Venture, Hanigan Trike 40,000 miles Good rubber. All necessary lights work, nothing said about the extra lighting. Brand spankin new battery. Lots of goodies and add ons. look at the pictures again, and see the things you missed the first time. Extra fuel tank included. GPS (garmin 660) and backup camera Easy steer by Hanigan I'm told. Trailer hitch with Flag mount and a flag of the USA Driver back rest. Heat controller for passenger. Too many other things to list. Don't be shy, this is a one of a kind trike with low miles and exceptional history. Bidding is open!!!!
  16. Now if you were still riding a Spyder you would get a parking spot alll to yourself!!! Looks good though, and glad you were able to get out for a bit.
  17. Now don't you all go having any attacks here. Got you all wrong, but that is a good thing. I do have an offer on the table, and I will have to deal with that one first,,,special reasons,,,, I will know in a day or so I'm sure, and then I will see what serious business you guys have up your sleeve. Wish I could say more, but somehow that would not seem fair from my standpoint at present.
  18. So do we have any interest in Blondie??? Becky says,,, move it out!!!
  19. Yah, and if they were serious they would have sent me an email.....
  20. From the dictionary of AllAgree Rain Dance: A ridiculous acrobat form of movement that will have all those able to watch wondering what on earth has got into that human. Mostly performed outside (has better effect) and in order to be most effective should be performed with feet pointed towards the clouds. If not performed in such a manner then the opposite effect of ones desire may take effect. It has also proven to be quite beneficial to have a large crowd of on-lookers clapping their hands in unison, so to create a beat, sort of more or less. Best you practice some more maybe!!
  21. Keep this up and you make my job more confusing, but hey, I'm not complaining eh!!!
  22. Wonder if it's that white scarf of Vicki's.
  23. You didn't say where you supplied the ground from or to.
  24. 10 or so
  25. Another party, Ben and I will be attending the trike tomorrow. Seems the major interest is in having it road worthy, so we will attempt to make it such,, shouldn't be a large or even a big issue, but I need to be sure.
