  1. Hi Ya'll I did some moderation, just so that you all know that you are being watched...lol I renamed the threads and eliminated some as well. So we now have a thread that will hopefully be kept for info, questions and answers. https://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?142455-Rally-the-shores-2020-info-only-plz Another thread is now available for discussion and encouragement etc. https://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?142473-Niagara-shores-rooms-for-2020-rally-the-shores I did this to try and keep necessary info easy to find for those looking for such things, without loosing out on the friendly banter and stick poking that goes on. Hopefully this works.
  2. Just to keep things less frustrating in the thread and info search dept, I would like to keep this thread for info and questions and answers only,,,, so please keep your banter and BS in another soon to be approved thread. Got that Carl???
  3. Speak for thine self you ?????????????
  4. Best leave Bum home then, he's waaaay tooo old !!!
  5. Sorry Big Boy, that job has already been taken. I have lots of experience with Bum, so I would be the most likely choice, it seems to me, actually,, both jobs if you want to see it that way. I know it's a load on my shoulders, but it doesn't matter, I can still shrug them and dump the load elsewhere. You will be in charge of the heavy lifting, you'll need to dig to find locate it, clear the way of any obstructions, check the weight to make sure it's not too heavy, and then re-locate it to a spot that I will designate. After that is all complete and Amy has sanitized the area then we can stand back as you nicely put it where you are told,,,, maybe just over 2 inches and then,, back to where it was,,,, almost!!!
  6. So what needs to be done: Bob's trike needs to have gas tank installed and seat installed. Maybe tie off some wires to be safe, battery needs a charge and the trike needs to be cleaned and then we will need detailed pictures. The garage needs to be unloaded, Goldie needs to be on film, and bike parts need to be separated from other things and that needs to be sorted into stuff and usable items,,all needs to have a photographer with a camera. Then everything will have to go back into the garage in an orderly fashion so that it's at least somewhat attainable for transport to other destinations. With 6 people there and 5 working I think I should be able to get a nap in sideways. Sound fair?
  7. Sounds like we're getting a group together,,,,, does that make us a groupie?
  8. Well so far there is going to be just the 2 of us, and I applied for the stupervizor job, you figure it out!
  9. Not that I knows much about this, but I run CCleaner with no issues that I am aware of. Maybe you got a bogus copy??
  10. Just so that you are aware, the greater majority of your braking power is in the front, the rear brake is only there to stop the rear wheel from spinning so to speak. Too much braking power in the rear will cause the rear to slide out. When braking most of the weight of the bike (or car) is transferred to the front, with very little left for the rear so it will lock up easy. If you are thinking that the rear by itself should slow you down to a stop, make sure you have plenty of real estate.
  11. When? Saturday Aug 31 2019 Where? Aristo Cres, Arcade NY Time? 10am til close Why? Clean out Bob's stuff from his garage, film it to sell. Wanta join us? You be welcome, bring your own food, drink, shoes, pants, gloves, hats,,,,,, the only thing provided will be work!
  12. Thanks for that Puc. We have decided to sell the engine separate and let PCW handle the sale,,, at least for now. I am waiting for them to get me the low down on it to post it.
  13. Never had a 2nd gen apart for that issue, but the principle would be the same. Take the handles off, clean them, lube them, and then re-install and check for play. If there is play, drill them out and make a new bushing for each. Chances are that the handle has worn and not the pin. Check the pin as well, and if its worn, get a new one first, it might solve your problem.
  14. Just a link to the classified. https://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?142606-Bongobob-s-Hanigan-Trike&p=1067959#post1067959

  16. Just a few pictures of Niagara Shores, this place is beautiful and immaculate.
  17. Don't know that I ever met Fred, but for sure I did know about him. For me it brings more reality, that someday that will be my lot as well, to leave this earth and join those who have gone before. Gonna take a little getting used to, to face that venture, kind of scary in a way, but then also a blessing to know that on the other side there will be no more tears and associated hurts and pains. Praying for comfort and peace that only comes from above.
  18. So far to sum it and organize things: Those going: Evan Saddlebum Grez007 MarCarl Tooch Maybe's Wizard765 Dogman No's GaryN Cowpuc (some excuse!!) Sleepy2 Stickhandle So at this point in time, that would be 5 yesis
  19. Is there anything they didn't loose?? Those guys had fun and guts!!!
  20. Ummmmm,,, so how was lunch??
  21. Going back to Puc dialogue, that is why I suggested to snug the bearings on the tight side, ride it and notice if the bike self corrects, (it shouldn't and you'll not go far to discover that) then loosen the bearings slightly, a 1/16 turn can make all the difference, repeat and repeat until self correction is back, even at higher speeds, then maybe a 1/16 loosen and Jerry's your uncle.
  22. You must be getting old,,,,, backing down from a challenge!!
  23. Oh sure,,,,, just when I had an answer at the ready. Good for you,, now don't forget to come,,, it should be a hoot!!!
  24. Don't know of anybody around that out paces you in that category,,, but if it;s a contest you want, check with Saddlebum,, he always wants to be #1 .
  25. I was stinking about,,,aahhhh,,, thinking about you today and was going to suggest that you join us. Let's pray that you'll be good enough to join us.
