If you are still running the OEM fuse block, better change that first. -
Issue with all cylinders running
Marcarl replied to Sylvester's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
If you can, squirt a bit of carb cleaner or WD40 into the intake as it's running. If the cylinder fires, it's not spark, if it doesn't respond check for spark, fouled plug, loose wire, bad resistor,,,,,, -
You have my condolences. May you find many blessings as you gather to remember how good it was to have him be there with you through part of your life.

Getting an original quote of 10 grand sure makes 1800 sound cheap eh? Well at least you can help out and feel right about that, and then your pop-py problems should be good for a while.

CLASS inflates slowly
Marcarl replied to Chaharly's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
There are 3 off them on one bank. Take them apart carefully, the screws tent to find hiding places where no eye has seen, and the little springs inside tend to hop off with the easter bunnie. Once apart and all the parts are safe and secure, clean things up, and check the the seats where the rubber on the end of the plunger sits. If it's rough, put some fine steel wool on the end of a small wood dowel (don't use a drill bit) inserted into a variable drill and carefully polish the seat, then reinstall all the parts, no lubricant ( it will only collect dust). There is another solenoid in the exhaust line that also needs to be cleaned as well as the intake filter that is in the intake line (really?). It is in the rubber line and will pop apart easily. Any more questions, plz ask. -

Seems that no matter what we do, there always seems to be a lack of common sense, even with drones,,,, so we need to be told what common sense may look like, hence,,,regulations!!!

Just thinking out loud here. Have you considered using a corrugated plastic pipe, the non-perforated type? I know being smooth on the inside would be desirable, but I would tend to like to think about it anyways if I were you.

I can feel your pain. My daughter bought a house and took possession 1st of Dec, it was built in 1933 and never really updated. It was decided to upgrade the basement to be usable so some dirt had to come out, 11 tons worth, all removed by 5 gal pails half full. She then wanted to put a bathroom down there but the sewer goes out 1 foot above the floor, so she dug a pit for a sewer basin, then decided after more family input that there was a better location and so filled in the first one as she dug the second one. She then ran into a super deal on a stackable washer and dryer so now the pit is in a different location again. The pit is 24" wide, 30" deep all in coarse sand and river stone. There was no concrete floor in that section of the basement, so that was a bonus. We is a little weee bit stiff and tired right now.

[h=2]Cost and delivery[/h] [h=3]Cost[/h] $40 Note: you will also have to pay for your driver’s licence fee. [h=4]Payment[/h] You can pay with a Visa, MasterCard, debit, cash, or certified cheque. [h=3]Delivery[/h] You can have the card delivered securely to your residence, which takes 6 to 8 weeks by secure delivery or you may pick it up at a specified ServiceOntario centre of your choice. Please note, the temporary driver’s licence you receive before your card is ready for pickup cannot be used to travel to the United States. [h=2]Renewing an EDL[/h] The EDL is valid for 5 years. It must be renewed every 5 years at a ServiceOntario centre that offers the service. You will receive a renewal reminder with a renewal form 2 to 3 months before it expires. To renew, you will need to visit a ServiceOntario centre that offers EDL services and: bring your EDL as proof of identity and citizenship complete the renewal form included in the renewal reminder fill out a renewal questionnaire pay the renewal fee plus the cost of renewing a driver’s licence (and any other fee or fine applied to you) We will keep your current EDL, however, a temporary driver’s licence will be issued to you for use until your new EDL arrives by secure delivery. You may also choose to pick it up at a ServiceOntario centre. A temporary driver’s licence cannot be used for entry into the United States. So it sounds like: Yep, it can work, but then it might just depend on the US border guards and you'll still have to get in line to wait your turn. I don't think it's a Nexus card. Terror and trouble is nothing new here, we are NORTH of the border and can handle whatever comes our way. Iffin we don't like it, we leave them snowed in!!

An older man told me once that a man never dies while he is working. You might not agree, but think about it, open your mind to the facts as they come. Maybe that's why folks keep us working, they like to have us around a while longer.

Thanks Ben for setting this up and for such a short speech, that is unlike you, even when you don't speech but just trying to extend mine. Good to see all you folks again, the pretty ones as well the others. I liked the way Dogman managed to get a stand-in for Bernie, don't know how he managed to find her, or get permission to take her, but it's something to keep in mind. Maybe you could give lessons on that Dave now that you're retired. Give Bernie our best and tell we missed her please. As usual, food was good, and the company couldn't have been better, looking forward to the next time we get together. Hopefully Abdul took some pictures????

Very similar in my life once, and then later again, got the idea that sometimes it helps, to get her take on the problem at hand. We built an addition to our house in 98 with a walkout in the basement, all concrete. We dug a 3' pit and filled it with gravel for drainage, don't know why because it's all sand there, but we did because that is what you do I guess. Anyways, when it rained the bottom landing would fill with water somewhat and then slowly drain away, until one night it poured buckets and the water level was over the door sill and going higher. We went to bed and I told her we would probably have some water to clean up come morning, so we talked about it for a bit and she said, why don't you use a plunger? Notice she said 'you'!! Nice of her, seeing as it was raining cats and dogs, I had no rain coat and was going to get soaked if I tried her trick,,,, but, as a good husband I took her idea and went to work with it, found the plunger and went outside, no shirt, no shoes, no boots, no pants,,,,,,(enough already) and down into the walkout out. Two feet of water was now nicely pooled at the bottom, but the door seal held nicely, so with tool in hand I went 'swimming'. Found the drain hole, plunged it twice and watched as the water level lowered to the floor in about 15 seconds. I say she smart!!!, I'm decided there and then that she was going to be a keeper. The next step would be how to get her to demonstrate her ideas,,, still working on that one!!

Antigua???? Where's that at?? How come you don't stick around here? How can I visit when you're never home? Coffee ready yet?

For those who plan to attend, I look forward to seeing you, maybe the first time and hopefully not the last time. For those of you who are sitting on the fence,,,, get off that fence and come and enjoy some good company, meet some awesome people, see if I can get Evan and Ben to talk together, and enjoy some of the best food this side of where-ever. The time is 6:30pm, but don't expect Ben to be early,,, he can walk over. If you are not planning to come, then you'll be missing out and you'll just have to settle for the pictures that might or might not be posted sometime after the event, and your comments will be late in time. If you think it's too far to go,,,, you might be right, but you could also be wrong,,,,, why take the chance. If you think the weather might play a part in this? don't worry!!! there is a Holiday Inn just across the street and they have lots of rooms. If your GPS says you can't get there from where, then either get a new GPS or move to another location. If you live in Florida, you still have time. If you live in California, you may get lost. If you live in Germany, fly Air Canada. If you live in Australia, come-on over and get right side up. If you can't speak English, then you'll be in good company.

That's the trouble with this time of year, soooo many 'Sundays', so much time off, days are all confused. A feller no sooner gets it together and has it in normal mode and then they tell him it's time to do something different again. I think New Years should be in July sometime, or maybe March. Enough is enough already. But no matter all that. Happy New Year you all. May many blessings surround you as you deal with all this world will throw at ya. By the end of this year, may you have found what is really the most important thing in your life, and then be able to enjoy.

No Problem Mr Bob, it was a pleasure to spend time with you and Becky. It's just something that requires doing when you're family and we was just fine with doing it. Keep us posted on the developments and the Spirits leading..

It's all Ben's fault. He has not been feeling on top of things of late, and he's getting on in years so maybe slowing a bit. I understand that the door got itself some rusty hinges, ( not enough used oil available from oil changes on his bike, because he didn't use it enough this year) and that leads to not being able to swing the door all the way open and then changes the current of the winds. Best thing to do to remedy this situation is to send him some jugs of used oil.

Here is just hoping that this day will happen, but not on June the 8th weekend. We have a grandson getting himself married on that weekend to a wonderful young lady who has him all wrapped around her finger. We will not miss this celebration, but then I don't want to miss MD either, if it happens.

Thanks Ben.!.! Where's the Line to See Jesus? Sadly to say that even those who say they are part of His followers lose the direction this time of year, so it's good to be reminded. That line though, will come, although it won't be a real line as such. It will be more like a cloud. Jesus will appear and He will come riding on the clouds and all those who are looking forward to that 'line' will see Him and rise to meet Him. I plan to be part of that 'line' and hope that there will be a large contingent called VentureRiders with me.

Today it's not only Christmas, It's also Dragonslayer's birthday. Happy Birthday Bob, and may you be blessed with many repeats.

Ya, I remember doing that once, just can't remember which once it was, or what the jack had on it. I can even remember doing it with a JackALL, that handle can sure take over some space in a hurry.

Not so fast there me boy, we just finished our shepherds pie. Note of warning, not all the shepherds were young and tender.
