So I found the ones I have. Right and left. Not new pipes, some road rash on either and a rust spot that seems solid enough yet. I think they a quite nice and easily mountable. -
WellNOW!!!! You do have your ways, but knowing you and your deviousness it might be just bit on the touchy side to give you a hug with a pie in each hand, your hands I mean. That would mean that there would have to be 2 (two) pies minimum, and I'm not sure that once they were used for what might be forthcoming that anyone besides me would want to be consuming such an explosion. I will have to give this some thought.

Well I suppose you are right, but then for me I have good night vision so the only time it's dark for me is when there is no light(s) around, so I will sit corrected. Now about the tent thing???? I am going to assume that you found a dirty spot on the outside and attempted to clean it up with the material at hand just so IHtruckguy didn't notice. I guess that just leaves the judging issue to decipher out. I know we have good honest judges available, and it would be good to use their expert competence, but this is not something ordinary to judge. It can't really be judged by sight alone, I think there needs to be the experience involved, so actual contact so to speak, so that there would be a good feel of things. I am really somewhat concerned as well for those who are vying to be contestants, that they might not have the sustaining strength to endure more than one or two repeats in one session, and that said I would not want to put either the Bum or our Puc at a disadvantage.

Don't seem to remember that I said anything about eating rum balls, just that I was going to guard them,,, and they would be quite safe where I would put them.

I would go along with this nonsense, but it would depend on who is doing the hugging (hugger), and then the opinion of the huggie (the individual who is on the receiving side) would have to qualified. Now as far as deciphering the criteria in this case we would need a couple of noble characters who could layout and explain all the in's and out's of the writings concerning the contest at hand. Fortunately this family does have some appurtenant individuals who could fit this to a T, problem being that MD would have to be extended by a day or two to allow these individuals to fully explain the ramifications of the ingeniousness of their discoveries. It seems at this point though that we come up against another block of this consortium. The best of the speech-i-fiers are also claiming to be in the running for being a contestant for this match, and how can we as an honest and loving group allow them to do both. Might I suggest that the huggers be allowed to speech about their powresses while I guard the Rum Balls? That way we will all know that the huggers will have put in their best shot, that the Rum Balls will be safe, and the best hugger has the prize!!! [h=1][/h]

Sorry darling, this don't make much sense. Extra dark? can dark get more dark? All the tents resemble one another,,,,,,, ya so? when was it you discovered that you had the wrong one? did somebody scream? or was it when the light came on? I just love disturbing the quiet!!!

Check out ebay, I seen some not so bad looking ones. Same pipes for all 1st gens. I have a pretty nice set here, one has a bit of roadrash on the bottom other than that they are used, but would shine up quite well. Shipping would kill ya though. -
So just what do you mean by getting in shape? Do you think that the shape you are in presently not good enough? I didn't know that one had to go into a tent to do proper hugging, but if that's what needs to happen, then happen it will. I don't think that rum balls should be a qualifier, or even an entry requirement. I'm thinking that all involved, including any judges, should not involve themselves with any fortification or any other means of degeneration. All contestants need to be in their most natural home grown self without any encumbrance from outside sources. So the rum balls need to left to the winner and runners up, after all, some may have more balls then others and then it would not be a fair playground. Just what qualifies you to be a judge? just because you volunteered? or are there other elements that would render you most capable?

How could I ever forget your hugs,,, hey, that's one of the foremost reasons to attend MD. Thanks for the clarification and confirmation, I was almost going to have a bad day, a really bad day, but now the sun has come out again, a really good sun!

Yep,,, looks just like my Dodge, dashboard in the front, shifter in the middle, steering wheel on the left, clocks behind the steering wheel, coffee cup holders, 2 seats and junk box in the middle, glove box on the right, mirrors, door handles..........NICE TRUCK!!!
-
Nice Chevy,,, should have bought a Dodge! But then a Tundra is a real nice machine, you should be happy.

Leave it to Rick to change the subject!!

Now you got me thinking about MD and all the cheesecake that SweetNothing used to hand out. SweetNothin' hasn't been around for a while and in order to get some of her offerings one has to migrate to that Texas place I think. Looking forward to next June!!! You did say you were making enough to go around didn't ya? And, oh yah, good to hear from you again, and say hi to Moped.

Glad I didn't ride the VR today, Winter is here!!

Well that is such a little bit it's hardly worth while. But it shows that the Fool has the distance dialed in. -
The reservoir is square, has a nut\bolt on the side facing you near the top. That is the filler hole. The lid is fastened on with 2 or 4 screws. At the bottom or the square you'll find a 6 inch cloth covered rubber hose attached, and that leads to the master cylinder. Just work the rear brake pedal with you hand and watch what moves as you do, and you'll find the master cylinder. The bellows can be seen if you remove the bolt from the reservoir and shine a small light into the hole.

We will ask that the Father look down on your bro, and that He may see it fit to have him sing praises here yet for a little while longer. -
Now that would be wrong, just all wrong!!! I might have been a little wrinkled when I was birthed, but that soon cleared up and I was the nicest lookin baby in the room,,, I know, I mean I just know because my mother told me!!!

Looks to me that what you need is no longer OEM available. Also looks like from what you have there that somebody else tried to fake it as well. Guess the best you are going to get is what you can find. Looking at your pictures I would make sure that the rubber collar is larger rather than smaller in diameter. I'm guessing that the broken edges were a cause of riding too tight on the swing arm.
-
Just to make sure I got it straight. The rear MC is below the reservoir. The reservoir is attached to the MC via a short rubber hose.Make sure the clamps are tight. On the outside of the reservoir is a 12mm nut which is the fill port. There is a rubber bellows inside the reservoir, best not to poke anything in there. My suggestion would be to remove the reservoir and clean it before you fill it. It's recommended and not hard to do, one hose and one bolt holding it on.

First calculation would be as to how much weight you would have on the bike when you have it loaded, then add the tongue weight of the loaded trailer. Tongue weight should be about 10% -15% of total trailer weight. All this weight is limited to max load of the bike. 250 lbs can easily enough be pulled by the bike, but stopping distance will be compromised, and the trailer will have something to say about short and quick maneuvers. The more weight behind the louder the speak. You will also find that the front wheel may get a lighter feel, especially in wet weather. Now whether you are around home or the other side of the country, makes for no difference at all. It's all the same, unless you feel that getting injured at home is paramount to getting enjoying the suffering further afield. I do tow a trailer, and will anytime I wish to, but it does add to the dangers of riding.
