If you call me up, I will try to help anyway I can in my neck of the woods. I'm a grandpaw playing daddy at the time, but I still might be able to assist.

  1. This is 8-9mos old. what are you looking for on this adapter? assuming its still in your shop.
  2. Dudes, I hate to say it but those to grill ideas are actually pretty cool..
  3. Hey Don, if this will fit the '06 RSTD I'm in. Thanks
  4. I might still have a set. Be a couple days before I can hunt thru the shop.
  5. Anyone ever tried or do use the motohorns? They sent me a few pics of them installed on an RDTD, located at horn point. Wonder just how they sound or if any issues mounting and running them?
  6. I did all LED's on my 06' back in 2014. world of difference.
  7. My question folks is, Does the '06 RSTD have a power outlet in the wiring to get power (+/-) for a stereo add on? I am setting up a batwing. Do I need to add this connection ? If so, is there a recommended criteria for this connection ? IE; relay, certain wiring points. I would want it to work with switch and in accessory mode. Thanks for any response or recommendations, Cecil
  8. My first thought would be carb needles stuck and over flowing the bowls. you can try tapping lightly on the bowls to see what may or may not happen. Likely that pack is coming off if thats the trouble.
  9. I have to say, I have sat on gone thru this post this evening and I am most impressed with this rebuild write up. I picked up an 89 a while back from the pay it forward forum. Had every intention to rat it out. wound up with some more surgeries over the past few years. When I finally got released, had grand kids dropped in my lap the same week. that's been 3 yrs. This morn a brother from my Motorcycle Ministry came and I paid it forward to him. He has plans to rebuild it back to a running Royale. I believe he can succeed where God had me to stop. That bike looks fantastic Herman. You will have that to be proud of for some good time now. I am getting to doing a batwing on my RSTD have it in the paint process now. I will have it mounted to a set of the quick release arms. Nothing like what you have done here but I have been taking some pics along the way. That was another project that's been on hold for like 3 yrs now. I will do a little write up on that with some pics when I get it done. God Bless you and Keep you on your travels with 2 wheels. Cecil
  10. To bad papabird didn't do a check up later. I'd like to know how the mount position is working for that horn and heat from engine and pipes. He has expired member now.
  11. We've had just a few days over the past month fit for riding. Some I got out on, some I had to play papaw. I may get a couple more. Hard to know in Kentucky nowadays. Fuel conditioner in the tank. Battery tender on the plug.. Santa soon to come by. I want to wish all you folks a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! and Prayer that the New Year brings better days without so much "illness". Hope you all been good so Santa brings some new toys and accessories fresh from Yama-Mama.. God Bless You All, ESE
