If you call me up, I will try to help anyway I can in my neck of the woods. I'm a grandpaw playing daddy at the time, but I still might be able to assist.

  2. Man that is a good looking piece of Bowling Green ingenuity. Saw a couple at the Bachman dealership in Louisville couple months back.. I wish Pontiac hadn't gone by the way honestly. I guess right now I will just keep my RSTD under my retired butt. Enjoy that new toy. Be sure to hang with us for a while. Have you been anywhere to find out where she tops out? hehe
  3. I have seen where folks are replacing the clutch basket with an (I) series basket. Is this replacement basket meant to sling oil onto the drive gears? Just curiosity? It looks like you have gone to some depths here and was thinking the basket had to be removed to get to your wire slinger location.
  4. Petty was definitely a great ant the Disturbed cover Sound of Silence is damned awesome..

  7. We'll I aquired this bike from the pay forward on here awhile back. I've had to have some surgeries but now I'm good again ride the tour deluxe regularly, but I'm ready to start working on the Royale. New starter, stator, rectifier (came with it) and battery for sure. I know she will need tires and fluid changes. Seems to be a solid bike. Like to get her rolling again .Thanks for the input on the lifting.
  8. Lots of good people and lots of good info and help here.
  9. Is there a lift plate that someone makes or sells to put for the bike jack? Like I had to have for my RSTD. It's an 89' Royale.
  10. I may be whipping a dead horse here but I searched the forum with different key words to no avail. I'm wondering if anyone has put hazard light/ emergency flashers on there RSTD? If so what was the process? Kit, homemade? Difficulty?
  11. This will be a great time for anyone interested in coming to KY this year.
  12. Last Days Motorcycle Ministry is hosting Sam Childers, aka, the Machine Gun Preacher July 10 and 11 in Shelbyville, KY. We just got it confirmed.. This should be a great event. We have a ride planned thru some beautiful KY countryside. Sam will ride with us on Saturday and share a message with us on Sunday. I will share the flyer or link HERE SOON.
