    Got Ran Over

The accident happened on Dec 3 We don't seem to have any after effects We shut down the 401 highway for about an hour for the police and ambulances to clean up mess. Four hours later we were in the Caribbean self medicating with rum. The airport people put or luggage in plastic bags for us to keep them intact. It was a little difficult to get our luggage out of the trunk in the first place. dale

    Got Ran Over

Had four people in the car on our way to the airport. Nobody hurt other than stiff necks. Not a scratch on anybody, still made it to airport to catch our flight. Not sure how insurance will work out just glad to be alive dale

  4. Hey just back from India had two root canals and crowns done that may have been the man. What can I say the price was right price was right dale
  5. Thanks for the well wishes As far as the super bug goes I was well aware of that situation before I left. As in all situations you have to way the source of the information and what vested interest one may have and make the decision that best suits yourself dale
  6. This thread is very interesting to me as I'am sitting in India right know having brought my son over for a procedure not available in canada or the US. The hospital is one of the top tourist hospitals in India and I can tell you it does not remind you of a resort, but the care is good and the Dr's are very good I had to have root canal when I got home so I had two done here the total cost is under 400 for both. A xray and consultation cost with a dentist is a little under 4 dollars. The denist room would never be acceptable in Canada but so far the work seems good. There are patients from all over the world here for different procedures. All I can say is it's a real eye opener over here. There are more motorcycle and scooters here than any city in the world and I would dare anyone to drive a RSTD or Venture in this traffic
  7. Try platinium power sports in Clinton I got elite 111 from him prices were as good as I could find in the U.S. and he was 45 to install back and 35 for front install Very nice fellow and does it while you wait Dale
  8. I'am running the narrow elite tire for 4000 miles and love it. I find no faults and it feels like a totally different bike compared to stock tires dale
  9. Try Platinum Powersports they are located outside of Clinton Ontario I got tires from them great prices and service Give them a try I think you will be pleasently surprise www. platinum-powersports.com dale
  10. I changed my stock tires to elite 3 with the 130 on the front. I put 2800 miles this winter in Arizona and my 2006 Rstd fells like a different bike. I did lots of interstate riding and didn't mind the feel. It could be partially that the elites are just better tires but I will not be going back to a 150 at this time Dale

    tires

I'am planning on getting new elite 111 tires for my RSTD and was interested in getting opions of using the smaller front tire pros and cons What i was thinking was the 130/90-hb 16 for front 150/90 hb 15 rear Is this a good combination or would I be better to go with the 150/80 hb16 for the front Thanks Dale
  16. I went ahead and bought one from a fellow who only used it twice It's the wider model also I need to put a hitch on my car and try to get away somewere warm this winter and do some riding Thanks Dale
  17. I'am thinging of getting one of these trailer to tow my bike south this winter. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with long distant towing with one of these trailers I'am hoping to go to Arizona which is over 2000 miles Hoping someone has some first hand information Thanks Dale
  18. Try running with 25-30lbs air in the rear shock I thought it made a diffence in ride. It's really not that hard to let it back out if you don't like it
  19. I didn't find alot of height difference the mustang seat seem's a bit wider so it makes it seem like your a bit further from the ground but not really noticable
  20. I have a mustang seat on a 2006 rstd and my passenger likes it much better than stock I also prefer it to stock can spend longer time in saddle in comfort It does seem to move you ahead a bit on the bike not that this is a bad thing I actually like the riding position
  21. Same thing happened to me with nearly new tires Pulled the screw and plug it myself.Ijust check the pressure on a regular basis as you should anyways. Mine is still holding good after 3000 miles I dont worry about the plug anymore than getting a flat when driving than from any other hazzard dkip
