    Careful boss. I catch a lot of flack from guys at work about how I work up high, use power tools without guards, and generally ignore safety rules with the exception of safety glasses. I’m a wimp when it comes to my eyes, take care of it.

    I typed in Yamaha Venture on FB marketplace and found a couple trikes. One 07 blue in Ohio.

    I went and checked, I never joined that page and won’t. It’s worth more than a buck a month just to not hear the attitudes you get on most sites. The fun here is just a bonus, the knowledge is priceless.

    The clutch button on my 86 was broken in half, if I remember correctly the res light wouldn’t light with that switch open. I don’t recommend it but I tied the wires together, cruise works but it will start in gear without pulling the clutch. The brake switches can also do the same thing.

    I second 40s idea on Skydoc’s kit. I went through mine one time, measuring and replacing the shims. I only needed a couple not in the kit that another member sent me. Once done I went thru it again just to double check the measurements. Right as rain.

    I get coffee at a local gas station for a whopping 40 cents a cup.

    Thanks, I’m moving my daughter to Huntsville Friday, not sure if the wife can go because of recent surgery. If she doesn’t go I’ll ride the bike and detour through Asheville on the way home.

    Same here on guns and ammo, what I should’ve said they only stock long gun ammo and very little of that even when it’s readily available. I went to an Academy yesterday and the only handguns they had were either revolvers or high dollar stuff, ammo shelves were near empty. Their fishing section was nearly as bad.

    The Walmart here doesn’t stock guns anymore and has very little ammo. All the surrounding towns Walmart’s keep a good selection of long guns.

    starting to see a pattern here? You guys are gonna cost me a lot of money. AAHHHH MonsterBiker you’re starting to catch on. This place is like going to the circus, the $12 ticket to get in is a drop in the bucket to what it costs to stay.

    Long story short, there’s a chance I may show up over there Friday evening and Saturday morning. Is there an itenerary Saturday? If I can make it happen I’d like to meet some of y’all I haven’t seen at Don’s or WNY.

    Bob was one of the first VR members I met and welcomed me in the group. I think of him often, and usually laugh when I do. Happy Birthday brother.

    Those weights are vibration dampers. I’d hate to lose mine.

    I have their running lights/turn signals and like them. It looks like you’d have to get rid of the bar weights to use these though.

    Before these 3rd gen spaceships came out the only belt adjustments going on around here were after Dinner.

    Depending on clothing I have a Taurus 5 shot .357 snub in an ankle holster or a Glock 43X 10+1 under my shirt. Every now and then I’ll carry an Armi Tanfoglio .380 7+1. When traveling the 357 is in the console beside me.

    I made a bracket from aluminum angle and came off the back bolt of the passenger foot board. Later I built passenger Highway pegs and integrated the horn mount into those. I can’t get the pics to upload from the phone.

    I’ve got some big ones for play but a new Glock 43X showed up in my kit today. It will join the ranks of my CCWs.

    First time I read that my pea brain saw Jackson MS. Not Jackson MI. Wife immediately said go get it (remember what she said about the third gen). Don’t know what’s got into the girl, she’s usually fussing to quit buying toys. Haven’t yet confessed to ordering that new Glock 43X.

    When the speedo is corrected the odo will be slowed. You’ll show fewer miles than really traveled. I’d rather have the speedo than odometer being correct.

    I’m sure someone will chime in and correct me if I’m wrong but if you bid on another one it needs to be 86-93. I don’t think the 1st gen MK1 and MK2 are the same.
