Weather seems to be pretty brutal for you folks. One of the airports evidently has run out of de-icing chemicals. Hope you all stay warm and don't have to go anywhere. Hope the new year brings warmer temps for you. Not too warm with all that snow you all have though, don't need any flooding. Margaret

Well he's no longer in CA he is now in NY. He landed early at Newark so he's at my folks house now. I'll see him for Christmas. My brother already has something he needs him to help out with so he'll have stuff to keep him busy till I get there. My sister also mentioned some things they could use him for, so he might be really busy. Margaret

Well tonight is a lunar eclipse and it's the winter solstice. In case you wondered the last time this happened was 456 yrs ago. Also you may get to see some meteors as well. You'll start seeing the shadow they said after midnight, but it'll be after 2am that the eclipse takes place. At least that's east coast time. Margaret

Well welcome to the family. Since you are retired military I'm sure these guys won't scare you too bad. DQ is kinda the official ice cream (ice cream is a required food for this group). Since it won't last long I took pics of our snow. I can hear sleet at the moment then we're suppose to get the rain. So here's two pics of the pretty white stuff. I can say that cause it won't last long. If I had feet of snow it wouldn't be pretty at all. Margaret

That was cute. I have 5 cats at the moment (2 come in the house the others are totally wild) and one dog. The dog loves her kitties, she thinks they are hers. One of the male cats comes in and sleeps with the dog, it's really cute. Her paws are wrapped around him, not sure what they do while I'm asleep and I don't think I want to know. :rotf::rotf: Margaret

Well it's still snowing here, we're suppose to get rain and or sleet later. Just love the winter surprises we get when they aren't sure. Of course we aren't gonna get much snow so we can't complain it'll be gone soon enough. Margaret

Got his flight booked, best price I could get was for monday. He'll be flying into Newark I'll have to call mom and find out who can go get him. He has a layover in Phoenix for about and hour. It'll give him a bit more time to spend with his Aunt, Grandmother and his sister. Both his nephew's have kids, so he'll get to meet them as well. Margaret

He's flying back, just gotta pick the right way to go. No stops in places like Chicago for example. He may never get out of that town with the weather we've been having. Margaret
