If anyone is going to do the Blue Ridge /Dalhonaga Ga run on Hwy 60 thru Suches just a little warning here. Bee very careful! The DOT has been hard at work throwing down "Tarsnakes" . I'm not just talking a few squiggleys ever once and a while. I'm talking a lot in every curve making the bike verrrrry squirrley. It was 94 as we were going thru there last sun. and it was downright scary. I have ridden this road many many times and always loved it but no mre for me for a while. It really seems to me like they put so much down to possibly slow down or stop the crotch rockets from flying thru there. I just wanted to give a warning:no-no-no:

Minorities We need to show more sympathy for these people. * They travel miles in the heat. * They risk their lives crossing a border. * They don't get paid enough wages. * They do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do. * They live in crowded conditions among a people who speak a different language. * They rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day, every day. I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans; I'm talking about OUR TROOPS! Doesn't it seem strange that many Democrats and Republicans are willing to lavish all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops and are now threatening to defund them? Please pass this on; this is worth the short time it takes to read it.

My new bike arrived in one piece today, with a great deal of thanks to 86er, Todd Magill. He did a lot of work to get me this bike, and I want to thank him. It even came with a little bit of Georgial clay:) As long as I'm talking about the great members here, I'd also like to thank NKBjones, Nathan Jones for sending me a lowering kit for my 05 RSTD. So when I do have to the bike to the shop I'll know what they are talking about Is it availible on CD? Getting on a CD would be great.. I have a M.M. for my Honda 1300 VTX and do most of the work myself.

Well, finally today the J&M CB Solo radio show up. I plan to install it on the RS96. Now, I have the J&M headset too but it seems that I need to replace the lower cable from the 5 pins to the 6 pins for this radio (I use the 5 pins with the VR 84). Did someone here has used the same headsets with different lower cable? the manual is talking about some special models, but I really can't find wich model are my headsets. I know that I bought it two years ago, and comes in a sale from a goldwing dealer, and it works perfect on the VR. So, every update on this will be highly appretiated. :detective: :stirthepot:

Gotta admit to getting old or my past coming and biting me but I am getting hard of hearing and probably should get hearing aids. The question...does anyone else use a headset with their hearing aids in or out? Do the aids work ok or will I need to adjust something in the helmet or take out the aids while riding? Any idea what I'm talking about? lol.

I was wondering if anybody had one of the shorty windshields and wanted to sell it? I don't mind getting a used one or even one that isn't tinted. I want to try it out without paying the arm-and-a-leg new price. Check the link below to see what I am talking about. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=35590&viewitem=&item=320160146387&_trksid=p3907.m29
