You rode to Marion NC and didn't give me a call,I would have rode with you but I had a death in the family and could not have made it.Some of the best rides start at Marion.80,226A,181 are all great roads and all go to the Blue Ridge Parkway.Next time give a call.

I have the HiPoint C9 for 2 years now.probably fired 1000 rounds with it without a hitch.If you give it a good cleaning it should do you justice.mine came with the carrying case and a Kershaw knife.I agree itnis a little heavy but it fits my hand just fine.And I do like the lifetime warranty.If someone has a HiPoint and thinks it is a piece of crap i will buy it from them for crap price.

Have you tried the YMCA.Our YMCA has excellent trainers that will steer you in the right direction.A lot of PT patients here use the Y.I go to the Y almost every morning and they have been a great help to me.I don't know if you have a Y there.I pay $19 a month and it is well worth it.

Wayne,it sure was nice talking to you and you sure picked a great place for a base camp.Lots and lots of great roads to ride around the great city of marion.Looking forward to meeting up with you and i am sure Randy will show up.I sold 2 of my ventures and a guy is trying to buy my 86.Can I still ride with you guys,I am seriously looking at a Can Am Spyder that is for sale here .It is a 2008 for $9000.It sure does handle the twisties around here pretty good.

Last Sunday the wife and I drove up to maggie valley and on to Cherokee.Not much goingon either place.took 441 across to Gatlingburg.Lite rain and snow mix all the way across.took forever to drive through Gatlingburg.took 321 to I-40 then home.Got home at 11pm and took the Porsche through the carwash to get all the salt and sand off.It may be a German car but it dont like SNOW

I have gas heat and I use 2 Edenpure heaters.3 years ago my gas bill was $1100 for the winter.The last 2 years I used $400 in gas and my electric bill was $20 more per month with the 2 heaters running for the 4 coldest months.4 months at $20 =$80 and $400 in gas for the 4 months verses $1100=$700 savings and the house stays cozy warm 72 degrees.you do the math.Works for me.

From Marion you can go up 226A AND down 226 then up 80 to the BRP and on to Mt Mitchell.you will be going up and down a 2000ft elevation change so the ride will be awesome.

I drove up to Mary's house today but no one was home.I drove by the funeral home and it was closed. Nothing in todays newspaper either.Soon as I find out anything I will post it here..
