    I didnt have to wait untill Satarday to talk with the owner I got to talk to him this morning and we had a good chat about what happened. He said he was very sorry and he would make it right with me. And that he was having new filters put in his pumps to keep this from happening again and the company that sells him his fule came and pumped the tanks and did a cleaning of the tanks.

    I just put a 84 Venture back together and had the same problem for me it was a bad fule filter and the line going to the tank needed to be replaced it wasnt leaking but there was a spot where it had gotten pinched and wasnt leting enough fule to get threw.

    I saved the filter and the gas that came out of the tank. I am going to try and talk with the owner on Satarday and see what he has to say.

    I stoped and tryed to get some gas at a local station and it was pumping slow I got about 3/4 of a tank and went in to pay and said must be something wrong with your pump and she says oh I will tell the owner when he gets here. I get about 12 miles on the tank of fule and I am wondering if I will even get home. So to work I go on the cycle clean conections all that I can find move the TCI as long as I am at it. Still doent run very well take it for a ride it starts to run better but not like it did. Telling a friend of mine and he says sound like fule filter I just put a new one in a couple of days before I got the gas. So yesterday after checking plugs wires and everything else I could think of I decided to check the fule filter and here it is full of crud brown nasty stuff. And guess where it came from, found out that they let their tanks run empty and thats why it was puming so slow. So another new filter and its runing better but not the same as it was so I am sure that the screen on the petcock is coverd with this stuff and I hope that the tank wont have to be flushed out. Still waiting to talk with the owner I guess that he has been avoiding some other upset people.

    I am going to give the small box cut a try. What ever is in there is small so it wont have to be a big cut to get it out of there.

    Its the muffler I had it off and you can shake it and hear it rolling around in there. How does the RK mufflers sound.

    There is something in there that sounds like a little rock or a marble. How do I get it out of there. I havent taken one of these apart the outer part is in nice shape so it would be nice to keep it. I took it off flipped it around shook it and it wont come out of there. Thanks Orlin

    There is going to be a Celberity dunk tank at the fest is there any here that would like to take the seat. Good way to cool of after the ride.

    I dont get in a hurry around here Deer, Turkeys and It wont belong and the Snapping Turtles will be crossing the roads to lay their eggs.

    Now I have the netural light blinking and still no tack tryed a diffrent insterment pannel that I know is a good one my in the TCI cleaned the conections, I have everything but the tack. it runs great took it for a spin down the road today.

    I started with the frame and engine Friday evening today I took it for a spin still have a long ways to go but it runs and moves and stops. I have everything but the tack working and could sure use some ideas. I know that the tack worked a year ago before it was taken apart. To be used as a parts bike so I am a loss as to why it wont work now. Thanks Orlin

    I had some logging done last summer so I have plenty of wood ready to burn just have to stack it so its ready to light.

    I my have one for mat, day I have went to work on bringing another 84 back to life. But then it may be done by then we will see , If I have it done it will go on the ride that way we can hitch a ride home.

    Maybe we can get some more of the Leaf Lookers, Bill said he and his grill are coming but I havent herd from him for awhile. I am going to start stacking the wood for the bonefire so we can light up the valley.

    1,000 lights may get calls for a low flying UFO, where did you get your carb tune at, I have the MotionPro and the old style gauges. I like to use the gauges when I start so I dont loose any of the fluids. Orlin

    I would like to see who can make it on that date, to get a idea of what all to do to get ready. I put it on the calendar so you can RSVP there, and it is posted in the Meet and Eats so if you would like to bring something like a dish to pass or maybe a tool that would be of use for the work on the cycles that maybe a good place for that. This is the first time at doing this so any ideas would be helpfull. Thanks Orlin

    When setting still the speedometer reading jumps around and doesnt work going down the road cleaned up contacts but it was coverd with fork oil, Shorted out would be my guess, Any other ideas. Thanks Orlin

    I just went threw the same thing on mine I had to keep bleeding it untill I could feel the brake was working. and then I had to readjust the free play.
